The Lakes

The namesake of this forum has to be my favourite, and I'm not just sucking up either. It's the only lake that really gets a huge amount of plotline to it. You find Team Galactic in the lake after having dried it out and battle them. The actually dried up the freaking lake, which was pretty cool and made me respect Team Galactic that much more.

Also, it was fun to see all those Magikarp flopping about helplessly.

 

Now, I've got to go for Lake Valor. Not because of the forum, but because of all the Magikhrp xD

Maybe this is all just a representation of the real Lake, and the members are the flopping Magikarp :O

 

Lake Valor. I don't think there was only makigarp there sadly when they exploded the lake e_e Like are you going fishing or trying to catch a legendary Pokémon there is way to do that not to explode and entire lake ​

Nah, just kidding.

I like Lake Acuity the most, simply because I think a lake that remains unfrozen in the middle of an eternal blizzard is kinda beautiful in a way. It's like a safe haven for lost and freezing travellers.
Plus, there are Sneasel in the grassy parts of the Lake. If I remember correctly, this is where I found my shiny Sneasel

 

I love snow/icy stuff so acuity is close... but valor just wins. I never expected that exploding lake but it was AWESOME. Actually had story to it and of course the magikarp were amazing

 

I actually liked Lake Verity the best. It starts off the storyline, and It's where I got my first starter, Tweety the Piplup. I also like how it keept being tied back into the story, at the beginning with your starter, at the middle to battle Mars, and finally in the end to begin your cross-Sinnoh hunt for Mespirit.

 

I'd choose Lake Valor because its lakefront has a resort area. I'd wish Lake Verity and Lake Acquity would also have their resorts at their lakefronts, that would be cool if they do.

 

Lake Verity. This is the place where everything begins - where Barry and the player visit with the determination to catch the legendary Pokémon that resides within the lake, although unprepared. It poses a big challenge to the player, or as a goal of sorts to finally meet up with and catch the legendary Pokémon. This inspires both Barry and the player to start their Pokémon journey and to get stronger in order to fulfil that goal.

 

I have always liked winter and Lake Acuity is the one with my favorite weather.

I imagine myself playing on the snow filled area and skating on the lake when it freezes enough

 

Lake Acuity.

The design wins it for me. It's snowing there all day, every day, and Snowpoint City is just to your right, so both places are pretty secluded. You have to get through a ridiculously long route where the weather is a blizzard all the time, and the lake and city act as a reward, almost.

 

I like Lake Verity. I love the name, and because it's where everything starts. heck, it's where you even see Cyrus for the first time. And of course, Mesprit - who doesn't love roaming Pokémon?

 

I like Lake Valor. I really liked the story with the magikarp and the explosion.

 

Lake Valor in all honesty. I just really liked the uselessness they made the Magikarp seem and you had to battle Team Galactic in the dried up lake. Why couldn't the Magikarp have evolved and kicked some butt?

 

Probably lake Verity, not only for the beautiful-sounding name but also because it was the first lake you encounter given that it's just a short walk away from your hometown. I would have loved to live near that lake and go exploring as well as possibly hunting for shinies after those motivational TV reports talking about red Gyarados sightings (like in the beginning of D/P).

 

Mine would have to be Lake Valor. It's near a resort area, and it was funny seeing all those Magikarp that the Galactic Grunts dehydrated with a bomb. They ask you if you want to join the Magikarp, yeah of course xP
