    Hey everyone...

I was playing Pokémon X, and suddenly I came across this.
In Lumiose City, there's a buiding, and if you go to the second floor, the following will happen:

The light will turn off and on a few times, and suddenly, there will be a Hex Maniac right behind you.
She will float away, not moving her feet, and when she's in front of you, she will say:
    "No. You're not the one."
    And she will float away.

Later, in Hotel Richissime, the same ghost stands in on of the rooms:
    "... ... ...
    ...Don't talk to me...
    ...If you do, I won't...
    ...hear the elevator..."

So let me hear all of the crazy speculation theories you can think of!

The creators of Pokémon are never unaware of what the fans think and enjoy. There has always been ghosts and a few creepy little things in Pokémon, and the interest in Pokémon related creepypasta and dark tones is pretty widespread among fans. They seem to be trying to make as many people happy as possible with X and Y; we have a game new players can pick up and play with ease, a more straight-forward EV training system for those who like to get into it a bit deeper, Kanto starters that old fans know and love, clothing options, Pikachu with its anime voice and Amie to appeal to players who like the cute friendship aspect, and even two Charizard forms which I am wholly convinced was done to appease the "Charizard is a dragon why not Dragon type!?" people. I'm not at all surprised that they added something for the fans of the dark aspects to bite onto.

Okay this statement is simply right out under my nose for the fact I havent played X/Y before.

Alright think what Hex maniacs are, they're trainers that study "magic" and specializes with ghost/dark/psychic Pokémon. And considering the "you're not the one" perhaps she was looking for someone, perhaps her killer or some sort... But yeah that's RIGHT out under the nose.

Also, this a hotel right? What else is in the hotel room?

@Doima: I love how they do that. It's like the Marvelous Bridge girl in Gen V (I think someone from GameFreak really likes ghosts xD)

Nothing else. It's just an empty room like all others, except for her. xD

Also, in the train station, go to the back of the back timeboard. And those alleys are creepy, so maybe they are involved. The lady standing outside one of them says something creepy, too.

Guys, remember how there was a similar situation in Black and White?

The mute woman, who spent all her time standing in a caravan, watching? If you had one of the 3 shiny legendary beats, which were released shortly before BW, she'd transform into Zoroark?

Don't you think the timing of the 3 legendary trio is slightly... suspicious?

I've heard a few theories on this saying that maybe she was murdered via elevator. Pushed down an elevator shaft, locked in with no food or anything. I don't know. However, something along the lines of that could be why she's found only in hotels, and it could also be why she's always associated with elevators. The "No. You're not the one," could be her seeing you, and knowing that you were the one who killed her. That part seems like it was implied though.

Anyways, this theory isn't mine. It's just something I've seen floating around the internet. All I can say is that I hope more is revealed, but not very much, and not all at once.

This is a really creepy addition into Pokémon, it spooked me a bit. I would've never expected it out of a Pokémon game, but I want more of it! I think she was murdered via elevator, like Shadow said above. I don't really know what's going on, but I do think she was murdered.

My thought is that maybe it was during the big war AZ was describing. Lumiose was under attack. She went to the elevator in Hotel Richissime, with her lover. They were going up to their hotel room. As soon as the elevator opened, they were walking to the room, until her lover attacked her and shoved her back into the elevator, dead. The elevator shut down for one month. Now, the Ghost Girl haunts the elevator, waiting for her lover to come back, and waiting to get revenge . . .

It's pretty creepy though! I might right a fanfiction/creepy pasta for it later. =)

I don't think they had elevators 3000 years ago.

It's Pokémon. They can have anything they want. xD

It also could have been another war recently~ Iirc, there have been hints suggesting there have been more, later wars.

This is a really creepy topic in Pokémon. What does this "Ghost Girl" mean? I hope more information will be revealed soon!

I like this idea, but in a more recent time; maybe not in the war, maybe she only had a bad lover. Perhaps he was a psychopath and now she's looking for vendetta xD

I'm gonna laugh so hard, if it turns out to be something really simple and kid-friendly. I'd love for it to be some kind of murder drama, though. Just to show that the Pokémon world isn't all sunshine and gumdrops. (I realize death has been touched upon before, but almost always dealing with Pokémon, not people)

Honestly, I don't think there's going to be anything more as what there is now. It's probably just Nintendo, giving us some little thing to make creepy stories about. Which I really appreciate :)

Is there a confirmation on 3000 years? I don't know of one in the game, but I haven't played through all the Ghost Girl scenes yet. Only that first one. Maybe there's something I haven't seen. However, it does seem like she was dressed in clothes that were rather modern, especially for them to start saying that all this happened 3000 years ago. Besides that, why would she show so much interest in elevators if she'd never so much as used one in the time that she was alive?

I could be wrong, like I said, I've only played through that one scene with her so far, but it does seem a little off to me for that all to have been 3000 years ago.

Well, the war that AZ was in was 3000 years ago, and yes, there was a war in Kalos only 300 years ago, but it didn't involve AZ.
