I LOOOOOOVE me some brisket, sausage, ribs (beef, primarily), deer meat (I had a venison lasagna once, when I was living in Maine, and it was really good), and other red meats. Not a super-huge fan of pork, but I'll eat it. Chicken and turkey HAVE. TO. BE. COOKED. RIGHT. if I'm to enjoy it. Fish is awesome, but I will not eat shellfish of any kind.
All of these meats you guys love and here I am with just chicken. Most beef and some pork never tasted good to me >.> Also fish is just gross kthxbyi
ohgod I can't even imagine eating lobster, much less things like clams and oysters. the thought alone makes me want to gag .... :'s
I'm infamous for being the one person in our family who doesn't love seafood Or camping or fishing for that matter.
haha sometimes the family buys clams/oysters and I'm just sitting there cringing as they prepare it. I'll just.. stick to carbs =p You're totally not alone @luxuryluxray!!
Has anyone had calamari before? Its good but the ones that are still shaped like octopi are creepy. I tried one though, and I actually don't like it as much as the ones that are just cooked chunks of octopus meat.
Seafood is just not my thing. I can't stand the smell of it and the way you eat some of it just makes my stomach turn.
I don't like much seafood either, I'll eat certain fish and fried calamari but that's about it. I've tried sushi too many times to count and I could just never get into it Same with most shellfish and such.
There are some types of sushi that aren't made with fish. I really like this one kind that's made with sweet potatos and some kind of spicy sauce.
I don't think it's actually the fish - I mean, I adore salmon, and I don't like salmon sushi. It's more the seaweed, honestly. I can't stand it.
I'm probably the #1 seafood fan in all the world. Especially when it comes to fried shrimp. Give me a few buckets of those, and enough meals to last mr the month.
I love seaweed in Japanese food, especially onigiri. I made some for a festival at my college a couple years ago. On it's own it's kind of bleh though.
