I mean, so far this year is ok.. but just that. We'll see what happens in the following months to come.
Ugh. Makes me glad that I don't live near dumb neighbours. They're just seriously weird at their worst.
It is a pretty good neighborhood I live in, the neighbor is just an asshole that tried to hurt my cats. They were smarter, fortunately.
I miss my old neighborhood. It was a lot safer; so much so that I could take nightly walks at around 11 PM and 12 midnight and not fear a lot because I lived right next door to a police station.
I live in a safe area, been here since 2005. Would love to move though...but for now, it's nice to be in a good place and be rent-free because thanku parents haha
Where I live is pretty bad at night. During the day it's fine though. Hood as hell though. Hard meth during the day is just messed up....
You'll be okay! Mostly I keep my distance from them, until they fade out down the road. Cops are around my area pretty much every day. It's known as one of the worst areas in my town
I've heard people discussing selling/taking drugs in loud voices at the bus stop before...I always thought that sort of thing required discretion, haha. I don't live in a very stabby neighbourhood, although I did have one guy try to corner me in an alleyway once. That was unnerving...
Well that's good to know! A lot of racial tension here too. I've been yelled out abuse at several times, just while grocery shopping. Worst thing was, no one cared to halt the guy who was doing it....
I don't think anything has really happened to me, and hopefully nothing will happen to me. But living here just makes me uncomfortable because it's just in the more...weird areas of the city, I guess. I only have about six months left of living here anyways. I really can't wait to leave and perhaps live in a better neighborhood. x.x
I wish you the best with coping, in the meantime. I am kind of stuck here for a while yet. Too expensive to move areas as well.
Yeah, one of the reasons why I'm here in the first place is because the safer areas tend to be more expensive, sadly. They're usually the areas with nicer apartments and stuff. u.u
