Honestly, pretty good! Probably the best thing I had that night. Dad and I went out to this sorta-modern ("chic", the website says) Japanese place in the city and we ended up trying an small eel as an appetizer. Better than it sounds, too; it had a tiny bit of fishy/oily taste, but the meat was tender enough that it basically melted, and it had some kind of savory sauce on it that covered up the hints of fishy taste really well.
That actually sounds pretty good. Japanese food in general tends to be pretty good. Unfortunately there's only one Japanese place around where I live and they have this reputation of trying to charge people for things they didn't even order, so I haven't had decent Japanese food in a long time.
I'm not much to go out to eat, but that's mainly because I'm picky with taste and texture issues being pretty big hindrance so is extremely rare for me to actually find a places I like enough to actually return to, aside from pizzarias but I don't really count those since is just junk food.
In Rome you will find a street of classic Italian restaurants on one side and a street of Western food companies on the other side.
I could go for Rockin' Joes myself! Though I think they changed their name to Shake Dog now? idk, but for the uninitiated; it's a fast food joint with an american diner vibe that has a few stores here. I loooove their €10 deals.
I got a wrap today and they told me they no longer put onions on them but when I bite into it...onions >.>
I like onions lol. I mean I won't eat it by itself, but as long as it goes with what I'm eating I have no problem with it.
