It is when you actually practice, which I'm so good that I don't practice outside of lessons and band practice...I really need to fix that...
I remember back at school where band is where all the cool kids were at... aside from the drama club.
Yeahhh... lotta band geeks at my school haha. Then again, I think that's at every school. Personally I never really understood the whole "band hype"
Our theater, band, and chorus are the best parts of my school, it is what everyone goes there for if you were interested in that type of stuff.
I personally was never part of the whole band culture. Like, there were a few times where I've hung around the band classroom just to see what it was like and talk to some friends there, but I never thought it was anything that special.
It is usually the best part of the school (Minimal drama, people are mostly nice, etc), but yeah, overall there is nothing special about it.
Ah, I see. I'd join, but I don't really like being in groups that big. (And plus all I'm decent at is the piano hhh)
The thing is, it tends to be rather cliqueish as well. At least, that's how things were at my school for some reason or another. :\
Yeahhh, I just stay away from anything cliqueish because I usually never get accepted into the clique. And yeah, 250 is a bit too big of a crowd for me ahaha-
I always found it really hard to fit in with the drama club kids precisely because of the cliqueish atmosphere there at the time. @_@
Never been in a drama club before. Though, I have been in theatre class and have been in a play before.
Drama Club is pretty much where all the theatre kids hang out in my school. Usually it's an after school thing or, depending on your class schedule, essentially a free period.
Pretty much all the people that I don't like being in the theater so I try to avoid them at all costs, but that is just me.
