I'm personally really tired of remakes altogether (not just in Pokémon either). If they did make yet another remake though, I'd want a Yellow remake. It would be really nice and nostalgic feeling to see the Kanto region in 3D.

Well before we jump on any new remakes, i think they need to finish what they started in OR/AS. There is no real Battle Frontier yet. After that is done, i will hype about the possibility of another remake. I love them personally. They bring me back to my roots.

Continuing the pattern, we're likely to get a Pokémon Z, then the Gen 7 games, and then I can see a Sinnoh Remake. It's possible that the next game though is a Yellow remake, as it's the 20 year anniversary for Pokémon.

I'm hoping for a unova remake, but that won't happen for a while. Sinnoh is next, I'm pretty sure of it!

So, I'm pretty darn sure (like 150% sure) I've figured out the pattern for the remakes. And you heard it here first, everybody. Quote me when I'm wrong.

The remakes don't come out based on what the current generation is: they come out for each new handheld console series.

0: Original Gameboy series (Pocket, Color), no remake necessary.
1: Advance Gameboys (SP, Micro, etc). Gen 1 gets a remake.
2: DS series (also DSi and other variations). Gen 2 gets a remake.
    3: 3DS series (also 2DS and N3DS), Gen 3 gets a remake.

This explains why the Hoenn remake wasn't in Gen 5, which would signify a simple and straightforward 2-generation delay (also explianing why we got B2W2 instead of Grae Version, so there would be more than just 3 marketable games in Gen 5, which makes me think the next Gen6 will be Z, not X2Y2, since ORAS is there to increase the game count). The history and fate of Pokémon is bound up with the history and fate of Nintendo handhelds. Mark my words, we will see a Sinnoh remake on the next series of Nintendo handhelds. Not before, not after.

I`m sure a Sinnoh remake is up in generation 7. I personally hope this is true, and I can`t wait.
ORAS was okay, but I really loved HGSS much more. I will be so angry if they decide to remake Yellow instead of Diamond and Pearl. I mean, we already have a remake of gen 1!
Pokémon Yellow has no differences whatsoever except for the Pikachu following you around.
To be honest, I love all Pokémon generations, but I am just so sick of Kanto. Nintendo just throws these things out just to keep their stupid nostalgic fans quiet. What`s so special about Kanto anyway? The region is tiny and there`s not many things to do, most of the Pokémon aren`t very good except for a small handful, which is why you don`t see too many gen 1 Pokémon on competitive teams, and the story is just boring. Plus, why would anyone make a remake of a remake?

I am honestly fine with whatever remake they make next, whether it be Kanto or Sinnoh; I love both, anyways, and it would be really nostalgic to see them in 3D. Now all they have to do is not mess up the postgame for each one, lol.
