Chances are, there's this one game you will defend to the death, even if it seems like all the rest of the world opposes your opinion. You refuse to even think about the game not being as good as you remember it being, all those years ago. It couldn't possibly be that a game you have so many great memories of, is actually as flawed as people claim it to be, right?

Doctor says: you've been hit by a bad case of the nostalgias. Don't worry, it's not lethal. It just makes you selectively blind to the bad parts of a certain game, so you can only remember the good parts. Anyone can get it, so don't be afraid. Unfortunately, there's no found cure quite yet...

Are you nostalgic for a game from your childhood? A game you deep down know isn't really that great, but damnit you will defend it for every bit its worth! Which game is that for you?

Super Mario Sunshine, because it was the first Mario game me and my brother ever played. Arceus damnit it was hard with some missions when we were younger but we loved the story and it was so fun. But it took us YEARS to beat (after we knew how to beat it. We were noobs back then).

I believe in the factor. I thought Petz 5 was the best game as a kid, impossible to be bad.... well as much as my computer really can't play it now, I tried, and wow was I surprised at how boring and lackluster this game was. Yet when I tell my friends about old games I enjoyed as a kid, I stand by this one, even though I know now how it is.

My username is a really really big hint.
That and Superstar Saga continue to be the top favourites of all games I've played.

I am not blind to certain facets of the games, however; as with all games I play, I know them inside and out, and I know that they both cater to a very specific kind of person, who looks for certain things. They aren't for everyone, but if they're for you, even if only slightly, you'll love them to bits. It is important to approach all games with an open mind, no matter how much they are loved or hated.

Probably the Pokémon ranger games. Some people really can't stand them while I can't help but defend them as great master pieces. I know they have flaws, but still.
