    I hate when i'm reading a book and then some random person asks "What's the book about?" That might sound a little trivial, but in most cases I feel they just do it to be annoying especially since it's most likely they won't even bother to pick up the book themselves and try to read it, but then expect you to tell them every little detail (I do know the details, but I don't feel like telling them which results in them saying things like "Oh, he doesn't know what the book is about lol," which I find kind of childish). Not to mention i'm like one of those guys that I have every detail in my mind, but when it comes time to say it it never comes out right which just adds to the annoyance factor that much more.
    Tell me does this annoy you in any way? And if it does how do you deal with it?

    What is sad, is the fact I am the guy who actually does the thing you hate, unfortunately. Now I think I know how my friend feels though, but yea if I did read books and this happened to me, then I would be annoyed dearly.

    I've never really been annoyed by people asking, especially if it is a book that I really enjoy. I love the opportunity to get somebody else hooked on a good book.

    I don't really get annoyed by the question unless I'm in the middle of reading it since I dislike to be bothered while reading. Then I just lift it up so they can see the blurb, or if there isn't one I don't really care haha. I can tell them about it when I take a break from reading it.

    This really pisses me off if I'm in the middle of reading. I usually say the first thing that comes to mind that usually isn't even about the book. xD

    If I'm really into the book, it kinda irritates me too. I'm just trying to immerse myself in a story and some dude taps me on the shoulder and asks what I'm reading or what it's about. It's pretty annoying, but not the thing I hate most.
