The PlayStation 2 <3

This system was my childhood, haha. I spent to many hours playing the same games over and over again (and still sucking at then :p)

 

Proud PS2 owner here!

I've mainly used it for RPGs (and am currently playing through Dragon Quest 8 again), but I will never forget my whole family being sucked into Final Fantasy XII

 

Alright, PS2 and the Gameboy were basically my two childhood gaming consoles. I would have most of the classic PS2 games, like Crash Bandicoot, Ratchet and Clank, Spyro (Dragonfly), and a few others. These games were my life up until I got a Wii and my PS2 died because it felt betrayed (which my Wii did the same soon after I got a Wii U)

I would play Ratchet and Clank and Spyro all the time, but my Memory Card was so small that I couldn't save anything really, so I was constantly restarting all these games, but it never felt like a hassle to constantly replay these games. I did find it annoying when I decided to marathon Spyro Enter the Dragonfly and the game crashed on me after a really good play session though...

 

PS2 was my childhood. I have my old one downstairs.

Granted, I only played Dance Dance Revolution and the High School Musical video game, but I played them quite a lot and am currently a DDR master (I played on Expert mode at 7, lmao) and I have maaaany memories of playing. Good times~

 

Oh my god, I used to play this and Singstar all the time as well. Video Killed the Radio Star and Love Shack were my jam (even if the latter was not quite appropriate for a 7~8 year old to be singing)

 

I think the playstation 2 was the console I owned the longest second to the playstation. I didn't end up getting the ps3 or any of the xbox consoles because I got hooked on nintendo, hehe
Didn't really have much reason to buy any other consoles when there was so much to do with my ds
I do remember enjoying the playstation 2 a lot though, not sure what happened to it actually <_<;;

 

I bought a Playstation 2 just so I could play Star Wars Battlefront 2. I had no life as a 12 year-old, but Kingdom hearts is a lot of fun as is going back and playing some of my original Playstation games.

 

I love my PS2~ though I had many games, my most favourite game was Klonoa:2

 

I still have my Playstation 2, haha. Still is my favorite for reliving memories and playing old games that really hit you with nostalgia. I'm so glad it still works.

 

I had a PS2 from 2006-2010 before I sold it like an idiot for a Wii game I ended up growing tired of real fast (that damn over-hype). I played games like GTA, Bully, Kingdom Hearts 2, Shadow of the Colossus, DDR, and Soul Calibur on it. I miss the thing. It was the slim edition too. Ever since the PS2, Sony hasn't been the same.

 

I've owned a PlayStation 2 since from whenever it came out to present day I believe. My favourite games (Can you guess them) are: Final Fantasy X (All versions), Final Fantasy X-2, Final Fantasy XI, & Final Fantasy XII.

 

I am still the proud owner of a fully-functioning PS2. My favorite games are the Jak and Daxter series, the Ace Combat series (Shattered skies was the best), and the Ratchet and Clank series.

 

Awww yeah, PS2! That was the first game system I've ever owned. (Alongside the GBA being my first handheld system, but that's for another topic) PS2 favorites include Sonic Mega Collection Plus, Ratchet & Clank 1, Mega Man Anniversary Collection, Sonic Heroes, among others. Gosh-darnit the nostalgia! XD My PS2 phat from back in my early childhood still works and is sitting pretty between a NES that was passed down to me from my dad and a Tivo Mini box.

 

I have my PS2 still sitting in my drawer gathering dust. Didn't have many games for it but those I did have were always fun to play - all I can remember owning for it are Okami, Megaman X7, and Megaman X8. Those last two I only got since my friend convinced me so she could play them lol. Okami was a fun game but one I couldn't beat by myself in the end since I'm just too awful. </3 Wish I made more use of my system since it cost a pretty penny. ):

 

Ah my second ever console! I'm glad I still have mine.
From time to time I turn it on and play Sonic Riders, Sonic Heroes, Kingdom Hearts or The Sims 2 Pets.
Though I wish my silver PS2 worked. I intially got the slim version, and it eventually started freezing on every game. It got swapped for a silver of the original version, which I still have collecting dust, and after a couple of years the same thing occasionally happened again, as well as not reading my PS1 games. Then my sister gave me her one which was black, breaking my line of silvers, but it didn't matter because it could play my PS1 games and not freeze. It was a godcend-until one day it casually decided not to read CDs anymore, which included the PS1 games and a few PS2 ones.

I guess I should be glad it hasn't completely give up on me since that first started.

 

I am still a proud owner of 2 still functional PS2's. Although I don't use it anymore, it's still next to my PS3~
My favorite memories have to be playing Tales of the Abyss, Legendia and Valkyrie Profile. Oh wait, did I mention Ape Escape?

OH MY GOSH THE PS2
One of my first consoles, and one of my favorite games in history ever was the game I played the most on that good ole console.
Pac-Man world 2
I remember that damn ice skating level, Oh my gosh it was so frustrating, I could never make that jump and timing the flip kick? thats something 8 year old me could never do.
Overall, it was my (second) favorite console I've ever owned

 

The PS2 is one of the only non-Nintendo consoles that I've actually owned. It was amazing. Mine broke sadly, but I really enjoyed playing it and had some pretty cool games on it, such as some Simpsons games that were pretty fun to play. Good times...

 

The PS2 was my second ever console (and my first was a PS1) so naturally I have fond memories of it. I still have mine and play on it sometimes. Gotta love Star Wars Battlefront 2.
