The Power of Perception (Poem)

Perception without deception is nothing short of perfection,
but most people live their entire lives with a great misconception.
In times of trouble, confusion, and mounting frustration,
we scramble to avoid our own destruction in a fit of desperation.

Devote some time to take a look at your state of imperfection,
and you'll start to see where you blundered and begin the process of correction.
Repentance and forgiveness remove self-pity and indignation,
while paving the road that leads to your self-actualization.

Most people are not aware that they are God's highest form of creation,
and that the most sacred gift we all possess is self-expression.
Anything we could ever want is already here under one condition,
to get everything we want in life, we must alter our perception.
