The Prophecy Poké Balls nonexistent, Pokémon following around their masters. In a time long before technology was widespread, there lived two different groups of people; The Oracles, those who were able to communicate with Pokémon and ask for their help, and the Aversions, those who tend to stay away from Pokémon and instead, believe in magic. Prophecies were common in this time, yet most of them have been proven false. There was one prophecy, however, that transcended the false prophecies. A prophecy where the strongest Aversionist faces the strongest Oracle in an epic battle to determine which group shall rule all. As the Oracles and the Aversions learned this prophecy, they began searching for the strongest of their kind. Two fated individuals were brought together. Lia, a member of the Oracle, and Matt, a member of the Aversions. Love puts them together, but the prophecy will ruin their love for each other. Lia and Matt both turn out to be the two fated individuals in the prophecy. The Oracles and the Aversions began to fight one another, with Lia and Matt being the main show. The fight lasted for many weeks; the shared land of the Oracles and the Aversions started to become a wasteland. No life, no peace. Seeing as how the world has changed, both of them have realized that the war would end up destroying themselves as well. Both of them were not going to give up to some prophecy, however. Lia and Matt were approached by a mysterious goddess, who offered their freedom from the prophecy in exchange for their powers. Lia will lose her abilities to directly talk to Pokémon, and Matt will lose his abilities to use magic. They accept willingly, the goddess taking away their abilities, changing the prophecy itself. Lia and Matt both became normal humans and they married later on. The fight between the two groups was finally over. After the war, the Oracles and the Aversions realized that the two groups were not so different. Thus, those who were in good terms with one another began a new group, the Unifiers, who were comprised with Oracles and Aversions that had finally learned to accept one another. Not all of the Aversions joined the newly formed group, however. The Aversions began to hide, fading in history. Over the years, Peace and happiness was finally brought back. Until another prophecy came once more. Lia and Matt, who were already living normal lives with their daughter, Prim, are struck with another tragedy. A new Prophecy was written. The prophecy foretold another battle between the groups, with the Aversions rising back from the darkness to search for the most powerful Aversionist. The savior of the world ends up as the child of the strongest Oracle and Aversionist in the world.
