The Simpsons

I've been watching the Simpsons since at least 1995, maybe earlier. (my memory pre-1995 is limited.)

I like most of the characters, I guess if I have to choose a favorite, it's Carl and/or Lenny. I also like Apu.

My favorite episode was when the Simpsons' stay at the Flanders' beach house and Lisa changes her image to make a bunch of hip friends. In the end, her true colors are revealed but her new-found friends still accept her and make her a parting gift. I used to identify a lot with Lisa, I still kind of do, so I found the lesson there really helped me accept myself.

 

I watched The Simpsons, but my mother never liked it so I stopped watching it. I don't regret this, I found it a little stupid sometimes, and it wasn't funny :/...But I can say...that the old chapters are the best xD

 

I freaking love the Simpsons! It's a great show, can't deny that I really love it, though it is difficult to explain why. I guess it's just one of those shows that you either love or hate. And I'm happily part of the first group!

 

I honestly love the simpsons, though I haven't been watching them as much lately. However, the Simpsons is one of the shows I've been watching since I was around 6 years old.
My favorite character has to be Bart though. Bart is really funny and mischievous, but he does have moments that really pulls on your heart strings.

 

Really funny and clever show! I think its perfectly fair that it last so many years without even fading away!

My two year old nephew absolutely adores this show. He's taking after his father in that respect; during tea-time, like clockwork he used to watch the show, regardless of how many times he'd seen it.

Some of the early episodes were pure gold. The latest seasons? I'm not so sure. But I suppose for a show that's in continuous production for 25+ years is bound to grow stale after a while.

 

I somehow missed out on this show growing up, and only started watching it a few months or so ago. It's so brilliant, I love it and really wish I had grown up with it!

I think my favorite character so far is Lisa. I have a feeling a lot of people may find that boring, but I love how rational and smart she is, and I admire her inner strength. Her sibling relationship with Bart is so amusing and sweet to watch, too.

 

I don't really actively watch the Simpsons, unfortunately. I do, however, watch it whenever it's on and the TV is mine! >

I don't really have a favourite, though I did like the one where they met their past selves (Or somesuch), and then there was a load of references to other media works. That was a fun one!

My favourite character would have to be... Well, Ned Flanders actually. I dunno, he's just so nice, it makes me happy inside to see his always-cheery attitude!

 

I watched the Simpsons every once in a while. The older episodes were obviously the best. As it stands today, I think there's far too many episodes.

 

The Simpsons is probably one of my all-time favorite series, I've been watching for years! I think Marge && Moe are my favorite characters, although I can't deny my love for Homer. Who doesn't like Homer?

I remember like last September they had a week-long marathon of the Simpsons on TV-- Every episode, nonstop! I watched as much as I could honestly, I never got tired of it.

 

The simpsons are amazing! It's one of those shows that no matter what happens, you'll have some type of love towards it.
Personally, my favorite character is probably Nelson. HaHa! I don't know why. He's just a really lovable character for me because of how broken he is. His entire backstory is pretty sad, but he's one of the most iconic characters of the show.

 

I used to watch simpsons regularly however as time went on the quality of the episodes seemed to fade but i'll always love the early seasons as they were the best.

 

I used to watch The Simpsons many years ago, but I haven't really tuned in in newer seasons, because yeah, it really did lose its charm after a while. But that's not to say they're complete crap at this point; there are certain episodes I do try to catch when they come on.

 

I used to binge this stuff. Now, I don't have much time on my hands anymore, but if it's a good episode, I'll watch it.

 

It was a show I loved to watch years ago, but as they kept on repeating I just ended up bored of them. But I know it's an awesome series.

 

Love me some Simpsons. The older seasons are obviously my favorites, as the newer ones don't quite have that spark that the earlier episodes did. There are ones here and there that manage to entertain, but most of the time they're just eh.

My personal favorite Simpsons character is probably Mr. Burns- he's always been the funniest character in my opinion. Burns is simply the perfect unlikable old scrooge, and has some of the funniest lines in the entire series.

When it comes to favorite episode, mine is the season 6 episode Lisa's Rival. The actual plot of this episode is okay, it's got a few good jokes and memorable lines. But by far the best part is the (unfortunately) far shorter subplot, which consists of Homer stealing a large amount of sugar and attempting to sell it door-to-door. I have no idea why, but pretty much every individual joke from this part of the episode makes me laugh every time without fail (especially the beekeepers/English guy living in the pile of sugar.)

And finally, my favorite individual moment. I feel it's just as funny without any explanation.
