The Sky's The Limit - Pokémon Emerald Valorlocke!

Hey guys, because my last attempt at a Valorlocke ended badly, with the ROM file and save both being corrupted, I've decided to uphold my promise and complete the challenge, but instead doing it on Pokémon Emerald. I'll be doing a Normal Run, and it'll be presented as Journal entries, with team data at the bottom in spoilers. Tuesday, December 8th

-Started my Pokémon journey, setting myself a set of self-imposed rules.
-Helped the Professor on Route 101, and received a Pokémon as a thank-you. Named the shiny Treecko Sanc, after [member=Sanctuary]. (Yup, that's right. Shiny Treecko on the first go! If only I was that lucky IRL)
-Reached Oldale Town.
-Battled Brendan for the first time, losing no Pokémon.
-Received a Pokédex from the Professor and 5 Poke Balls from Brendan, allowing me to catch Pokémon.
-Failed in capturing a Pokémon on Route 101
-Captured a Poochyena on Route 103, naming him Marshall. He was deposited into the PC.
-Captured a Zigagoon on Route 102, naming her Macaroon.
-Reached Petalburg City.
-Captured a Wingull on Route 104, naming her Peeko.
-Captured a Wurmple in Petalbirg Forest, naming her Ruby. She was deposited into the PC.
-Reached Rustboro City.
-Captured a Taillow on Route 116, naming him Robin. He was deposited into the PC.
-Trained on Route 116; Macaroon and Peeko reached Lv. 15 and Sanc reached Lv. 16, evolving into a Grovyle.
-Defeated Gym Leader Roxanne with no deaths.
-Captured a Whismur in Rusturf Tunnel, naming her Aster. She was deposited into the PC.
-Partook in the optional battle with Brendan, losing no Pokémon.
-Reached Dewford Town.
-Failed in capturing a Pokémon in Granite Cave.
-Trained in Granite Cave; Sanc, Peeko and Macaroon reached Lv. 20, Macaroon evolving into a Linoone.
-Defeated Gym Leader Brawly with no deaths.

Wednesday, December 9th

-Reached Slateport City
-Captured an Oddish on Route 110, naming him Lief. He was deposited into the PC.
-Battled Brendan for the second time, losing no Pokémon.
-Reached Mauville City
-During a battle on Route 117, Peeko reached Lv. 25 and evolved into Pelipper.
-Captured an Illumise on Route 117, naming her Iridesa. She was deposited into the PC.
-Reached Verdanturf Town.
-During a battle with The Winstons on Route 111, Macaroon was killed by a Meditite's High Jump Kick.
-Marshall was taken out of storage.
-During a battle in Mauville Gym, both Peeko and Marshall were killed in a Double Battle.
-Robin and Aster were taken out of storage.
-Trained in Petalburg Woods and Route 117; Robin and Aster reached Lv. 25, evolving into Loudred and Swellow respectively, while Sanc reached Lv. 30.
-Defeated Gym Leader Wattson with no deaths.
-Failed to capture a Pokémon on Route 112
-Captured a Koffing in Fiery Path, naming her Laila after [member=Bloom]. She was deposited into the PC.
-Failed to capture a Pokémon on Route 113.
-Reached Fallarbor Town.
-Caught a Swablu on Route 114, naming it Cloud. He was deposited into the PC.
-Decided not to catch a Pokémon in Meteor Falls, saving the encounter for later.
-Defeated Magma Leader Maxie with no deaths.
-Failed to capture a Pokémon in Jagged Pass.
-Reached Lavaridge Town.
-Accepted the Mysterious Egg. Its hatch location will not affect the Route's encounter level.
-Trained in jagged Pass; Robin and Aster reached Lv. 35, while Sanc reached Lv. 36 and evolved into Sceptile.
-Ruby and Lief were taken out of the PC.
-Defeated Gym Leader Flannery, losing Ruby and Lief as death fodder.
-Captured a Trapinch on Route 111, naming her Viridi. She was deposited into the PC.
-Captured a Sandshrew in Mirage Tower, naming him Pan. He was deposited into the PC.
-The Egg from Lavaridge Town hatched, revealing its contents to be a Wynaut. He was named WW and deposited into the PC.
-Trained on Route 111; Robin and Aster reached Lv. 40, Aster evolving into Exploud.
-Defeated Gym Leader Norman with no deaths. During the battles, Sanc reached Lv. 39
-Peeko was taken out of the PC to be used as a Surf user, since none of my Pokémon could learn it.
-Captured a Marill in Petalburg Town, naming him Zach. Peeko was returned to the dead.
-Captured a Jigglypuff on Route 115, naming her Death Rest. During the battle, Zach was killed. After the battle, a Moon Stone was used on Death Rest to evolve her into a Wigglytuff. She was deposited into the PC.
-Captured a Tentacool on Route 105, naming her Medusa. Zach was finally laid to rest.
-During a battle on Route 107, Medusa reached Lv. 33 and evolved into Tentacruel.
-Captured a Voltorb in new Mauville, naming it Explo-. It was deposited into the PC.
-Failed to capture a Pokémon on Route 118.
-Captured a Magikarp on Route 106, naming her Useless. She was deposited into the PC.
-Captured a Tropius on Route 119, naming her Tropia. She was deposited into the PC.
-Received a Castform at the Weather Institute, naming him Nimbus. He was deposited into the PC.
-Battled Brendan for the third time, losing no Pokémon.
-Reached Fortree City.

-During a battle on Route 120, Robin was killed by a Manectric's Thunder.
-Failed to capture a Pokémon on Route 121, 122 and Mt. Pyre.
-Reached Lilycove City
-Cloud was retrieved from the PC.
-Battled Brendan for the fourth time, losing no Pokémon.
-Captured a Heracross in the Safari Zone, naming him Atlas.
-A large grinding session took place; all Pokémon in the current Party were levelled up to Lv. 60. Cloud evolved into an Altaria during this session.
