The Start of it All

Hi, my name is Saranna. Saranna Grace Swan. I'm here to tell you how the end of the world started. That's not an exaggeration either. It's hard to exaggerate when you're a half-blood. I'll explain what that means in a bit, but for now I should get started on the actual story.


It all started when I fell from the sky. Literally. How? Why? Long story. Lets just say it's my moms fault, kinda. You'll see what I mean. What's important here is that my memory was completely wiped. I was unconscious for what felt like a long time. I finally woke up on a bed in what seemed to be a cabin. It certainly looked like that from the inside. Wooden walls, wooden floors, and all that. It was quite clean for a cabin. Next to me stood a tall blonde girl, She seemed about 15 years old. She had pale skin and cyan eyes. She wore a bright orange polo shirt with the words "Camp Demigod" on it, and blue jeans. She had a concerned expression.

"Hey... Are you okay?" she asked.

It took a moment for the question to register into my brain.

"I think so.." I muttered, sitting up.

Before the blonde girl could respond, a new voice came from behind the door.


"Hey Aqua! Is she awake yet?"

"Yeah."


A girl with blue hair burst into the room. I mean, her hair was really blue. She startling electric blue eyes and fair skin. She had the same orange shirt Aqua had, and ripped jeans. She seemed to be about my age, that being 13. The second she saw me, her mouth started running a mile a minute. "Whoa, so you are awake. My names Storm! Are you ok? It seems like you are, even though you fell from the sky and everything. Omg, you need to tell me how you did that. I fell from the climbing wall the other day and it did NOT end well. Are you an alien? Maybe you're one of Dad's servants. No...your features are much too dar-" Aqua put a hand over Storm's mouth and gave an apologetic smile. "Sorry. Storm talks. A lot." "I can see that..." I said awkwardly.

Aqua sighed. "We can talk more about all of this in the morning. For now, all I ask is this," she said. "Whats your name?" I thought about that question for a moment. A single name popped into my memory. "Saranna," I answered. Aqua smiled. "Lovely name. Well, it's nice to meet you, Saranna." The two girls walked out of the room and Aqua switched off the lights. "Get some rest. Goodnight," she said. She closed the door behind her as I lied down. I let everything that just happened sink in. I was still incredibly confused. So many questions swam around my mind as I drifted off.
