We've all encountered them at least once in our lives - computer viruses. What are some of the weirdest/scariest viruses you've encountered?

This one's happened quite a few times to me, and has never failed to engage panic mode. It always occurs when I want to watch or access a movie, when I enter the website, my computer will freeze briefly and a screen will open up (it's full screen) saying that the computer has been affected by Spyware and all the files have been locked, that we must call a certain number. Obviously it's a hoax, but it looks so real, even a voice is recorded and tells us to call the number provided on the screen immediately and says it's a concern from the Canadian Embassy.

So, what about your computer virus stories?

I've rarely encountered viruses, but there was one time when I was little than I encountered Ransomware. It first popped up a scan, stating that there was some... um... "naughty" things one my computer (which of course there wasn't, because I was only like, eight), then a very official-looking thing with the US government things on it popped up, saying I needed to buy a card or something to fix it. My dad fixed it, then I got it again, he fixed it again, then I figured out what was giving me the virus. And I hated that computer ever since. It was pretty scary for a kid my age.

Feed-Sonic-Search, oh boy. I HATE FeedSS so much. I don't even know how I got It. FSS Is a Malware Search Engine. Nothing I did helped until I downloaded MalwareBytes. I still have the link to that stupid thing. I would post It here but I'm afraid of people clicking It or getting warning points. It also affected Firefox >.>
