With most (i hope) still staying in lock down. I just want to make this to do a checkup as we're all most likely going crazy. For me i've just been listening to music and doing stuff with my PC almost 24/7. If I'm not on my pc i'm planning stories.
Been enjoying my "new" iPod, and I got to go "camping" as in staying in an old RV with a leaky roof in the mountains. Lots of rain for summertime.
I've been continuing my shared conworld project (extreme rp-like thing), and playing a lot of games, especialy MOBAs and gatchas~ also losing my sanity but 'tis not much major an event~
My work was able to let us work from home which suits me just fine. I can split my monitors between work and fun and thats just great! Mental wise I have been doing quite well, feeling quite lucky to have been living with someone through out this lockdown. Having company helped a lot. The restrictions in my area have slacked a bit and my mother is feeling comfortable having us over. Same with one of my friends so I get to socialize and play MTG in person again! That was the main thing I was missing to be honest. Other than that I have been working on my list of finished games for the year, finished up Doom Eternal recently, currently working on YookaLaylee and my challenge run of Pokémon Shield (link in my sig!) I also starting playing Dota 2 again for the first time in a few years, hyped for the International.
Fortunately, my college was able to make the easy transition to digital-only work. I have been able to continue my education with only a few bumps in the road! After that ends in a few weeks, I will probably try to go back to my old job, but I will need to consider than since I am an asthmatic and could be at risk with COVID-19. As it stands now, I am doing just fine and enjoying the extra time with my familiy!
I'm a little stressed because my college's summer courses start in less than a week and I still don't know the schedule. Almost every class is still tbd on all the time and dates and I haven't been to this college in a year. Other than that, I've been handling it really well. I have fun playing games, though I'm getting bored of it now, and I am working at home with my professor. All's good.
With the quarantine making me out of shape, I’ve been trying to hike when the weather is cooler. It’s been a great way to get and exercise and relieve stress. Otherwise I’ve spent most of my time studying Japanese, reading, and playing video games.
I've been watching a lot of tv and writing a lot of fanfiction. I'm just relieved that I've always been okay with being at home and doing my own thing. I'm not even dealing with all that much cabin fever. If I do get stir crazy, I just go for a drive and sing along to music for a bit. I don't have to interact with anybody, but I get out of the house, and I feel better.
