So, there is this new series, called Talon. This is the description of the series, found online:

The series revolves around dragons with the ability to disguise themselves as humans and an order of warriors sworn to eradicate them. The dragons of TALON and the Order of St. George have been at war with each other for centuries. The fabled creatures, whose existence is unknown by the general public, are determined to rule the world. Their foes, a legendary society of dragon slayers, are equally bent on driving the fabled beasts into extinction. However, when a young dragon and a hardened slayer unknowingly befriend each other, it has severe repercussions for both organizations.

There's loads of action in it and even romance (a love triangle, unfortunately). And let's face it, the covers are gorgeous. I especially like the first one.

Kagawa said there will be 6 books, and the fourth will be released in 2017.

Who has read it so far? What do you think of it? Are you Team Garret or Team Riley/Cobalt?

I am undecided which guy I liked best. At first, I liked Garret better. He was so sincere about his feelings. But now I kinda agree with Cobalt as well, which makes things tricky.

I'm so happy someone else has read these books, though I'm only on book 2 at the moment. Its pretty good, but I think i prefer Kagawa's series "The Iron Fey" to this one, probably because the characters other than Colbalt and Wes are rather dull in comparison. Obviously from that I guess I'm team Colbalt, mostly because a dragon and a human falling in love seems unnatural and I would really like it to not happen. Though I don't know how many of them will make it out alive, both could die for all we know or Ember could. Kagawa herself admits she dislikes perfect happy endings so I wouldn't mind a darker, sadder ending.

@[member="eeveeongirl"] I have not read "The Iron Fey" just yet. I have it laying around of course, but I still need to pick it up. So many books, so little time.

Judging from all the wars and fighting in the books, I am quite sure at least one of the mains is going to die. We'll see who it is.
