Ignatius regained consciousness and slowly stood up. His vision was still blurry, but he could tell that the building was a bit large than he originally thought. He slowly made his way around the building, steadying himself against the wall as he did so. Eventually he made his way around to the front where he found the other Tarots. He was about to say something again when he felt his consciousness slip away again and he promptly collapsed.
"Very well," Lucifuge said. "But, I am not one to dismiss reason... I have no desire to cause any bloodshed." He gestured towards the female Vanitas, who then slowly walked around Enya, still having its sword aimed at her throat. Once it was in front of her, it transformed its sword back into a hand, showed it to her, and leapt rapidly backwards to its master. At that point, both Vanitas vanished. "So, may I come in?" he asked.
"You may, but as I said, do not harm my companions." Enya's gazed had already shifted to the new player on the field. The idiot that had jumped in out of nowhere. "I have some other business to take care off." With that, she went to stand next to Nerus and stared at the new man in the small clearing, leaving small frost footsteps in her wake. Twirling around one of her trusty daggers, she looked him over. What she saw wasn't very impressive, beaten up armor, a shabby looking war hammer that had seen better days. "You must be very stupid to challenge not one, but two of the elemental tarots, boy. Especially ones that just fought in the battle that raged outside this very forest." She sneered. "Do not interfere with our business with this man, unless you want to feel my blades pierce through your neck." Stomping on the ground once made the ice under her feet spread two feet, giving her another weapon to use if needed. Although, she hoped it wouldn't come to blows. She was tired and needed rest, not to mention her wound was still giving her trouble.
Aurora moved out of the way so Lucifage could enter. She kept a smile on her face once he was allowed to enter. "It is great to find another Tarot, I am Aurora" The feathers of her wings relaxing slightly though the tension still high in the room. The peppy girl tried to keep her feet on the ground and her head leveled even though she was excited to meet someone who was like them, it was a time of war and you never knew who you could trust. "So you are the death tarot, I didn't think death would be knocking at our door so soon" she giggled.
"Wait, two tarots? You guys are tarots as well?" Nathan asked, slightly lowering his hammer. "I havent heard about other tarots for a while. Im guessing you guys mannaged to escape from the bloodshed. Are you guys also seeking for refugee?" At this point he'd lowerd his hammer all the way, hoping to not look the least bit threatning. "Look, I know that a man who just jumped out of the woods and claming to be a tarot doesnt seem the least bit trustworty. But please, if it means anything, you're free to stip me of my weapons if necesary. I just want to escape from this nightmare."
Raising an eyebrow at the seemingly other tarot's words, Nerus groaned, "Great, are tarots just popping out of the ground these days?" In any other situation, he'd be happy letting the ice user take command, after all, he wasn't a leader. Hell, he was completely fine taking orders, even if they are from someone he'd rather be fighting against and fighting with. 'But beggars can't be choosers I suppose,' Nerus thought grouchily. Rising to his feet, and holding his bow down to his side in a show of cooperation, Nerus took a glance at the sergeant he knocked unconscious, 'Probably not going to be happy about that, meh' He shrugged uncaringly before motioning to the target of his gaze, "You want to prove you're trustworthy? Then do me a favour, grab him and bring him into the house. He might have answers we need." Suddenly Nerus' eyes narrowed into slits and he placed a glacier like glare onto the other man, "Any signs of deceit though, or if you go after anyone in that house with harmful intent, and I'll end you where you stand. Got me?" He growled out.
"I wasnt planning on harming anybody to begin with." Nathan said, before turning around and picking up the uncounscious man with little trouble. "Feel free to lead the way."
Tyrill had been running through the forest at a pace a regular human wouldn’t be able to but not so fast that he would have trouble avoiding the trees as he didn’t feel like making a repeat of an incident he had as a kid when he was training to get better control over his tarot powers. He just needed to get away from the fighting then he could think of his next move from there. He stopped once he thought he’d gotten far enough away as he needed to catch his breath, he also needed to preserve energy in case he needed a quick burst. He stood still for a moment looking up at the forest canopy noticing it was starting to get dark before taking a few deep breaths. ‘For now putting some distance between me and the battlefield is probably just the best’ he though as he started walking. He wasn’t sure how long it’d been since he started walking but he could sense the presence of others in the forest, just at the edge of where his perception ability reached. ‘Lovely more people, 'I guess I’m not the only one that got the idea of seeking shelter in the forest.’ He kept walking while keep an extra watch in the presences he sensed even if the chance of getting ambushed was pretty slim he didn’t wanted to take any chances since he was not exactly in perfect fighting shape at the moment. Eventually Tyrill spotted a house, he stopped. It was where the presences he’d sensed was so even if that house would be a good place to seek shelter for the night he had to be careful as he didn’t know the intentions of the ones currently there. He hid behind one of the nearby trees and debated silently for a moment with himself about what to do before he decided to check it out. Slowly he peek out from behind the tree, there was few people outside the house and one appeared to pick up someone that he guessed was either unconscious or wounded. ‘Okay I think I’ll check the back before decide what to do.’ He circled around the area trying to be as quite as possible. Once around the house he made a quick dash and flattens up against the wall near a window, there were other people in there he sensed that but he wanted to see what they were up to just to be sure it wasn’t a occupied by bandits. He slowly peeked into the house with just one eye hoping he wouldn’t get spotted as it was a bit of gamble to do; then again he usually loved a good gamble. (Sorry if is kinda bad but at this point is just best to get my guy in there, so have a kinda eh intro post.)
Lucifuge looked the girl up and down as he listened to her speak. It took him a while to process the fact that she made a joke, and as such his chuckle came with a slightly awkward delay. It was sincere, nonetheless. "Ah, yes, I am. Sadly, I might add. Name's Lufu, by the way." Lucifuge said with an awkward smile. "And what about yourself, miss?" Lucifuge looked around the group of people, still slightly wary of them. "All of these people are Tarots as well? Best not to stir up any trouble, then." He thought to himself as he saw some of the other strangers drag an unconscious man around.
Enya looked at the proceedings, not willing to counter Blue Stripes orders in a show of solidarity. She really didn't like the fact that they had grown from 4 to 7 in the span of less than an hour. Why were all these Tarots suddenly popping up, and why did they come to the small decrypt house of all places. Sighing, she pulled in her powers and sheathed one of her blades, loosely holding the other next to her. "Unless Tarots want you to hear about them, you won't. Kinda the rule for a nice peaceful life." Enya muttered as she walked back tot he house. She turned to the man with the Warhammer and pulled his attention to her. "Weapon stays outside. This house ain't what it is supposed to be and I am not willing to let you bring the roof down if you happen to be clumsy. Understood?"
She smiled widely, "Lufu, that's a fun name I like it! I am Aurora, Aurora Miu, please to meet you" the bright young girl said with her higher pitched voice. "So did you just sense some thing about there being a lot of tarots here or just a good coincidence," she asked with a curious look on her face. She sat down on air, displacing a little dust from the floor as she began to float comfortably. Aurora fluffed her feathers and fluffed her dress, trying to make a good impression before some other big odd occurrence would put them on a higher alert than they here now and there would be no time to socialize.
"Got it. I'll just leave it out the door or something." Nathan said, placing his hammer right outside the door, making sure it wont get in anybodys way. 'If what they are saying is true, than there will be more people inside. Will they be tarots too?' He though to himself, slightly hoping it's true.
"Thanks, nice to meet you as well..." Lucifuge said shyly. He wasn't used to idle conversation, and this experience was a little difficult for him. "Why I'm here? Well it's nothing special like some sixth sense, really... Rather, it looked like it was about to rain when I was walking through the forest searching for a certain object and well, this was the only house in miles and miles." Lufu smiled a little. Unlike the perpetual grin of his Vanitas, Lufu himself hardly ever smiled at all and thought he had forgotten how to do so. He noticed Aurora floating, and made a small mental note on that.
Sighing in relief as the tension began to drop, even if slightly, Nerus glanced back at his companion with a dry stare, "4 to 7 in an hour. If this keeps up we'll have an army by the end of the month." Suddenly he released a groan as he pinched the bridge of his nose, "Although... Now our safe house isn't so safe anymore, we'll have to be ready to move out." Turning on his heel, the archer entered the house only to stop and raise an eyebrow as he took in the scene. "Nice to see you two getting on I suppose," Nerus chuckled. Approaching a dusty corner, Nerus collapsed into a sitting position, letting his bow fall beside him as he groaned, "Thank whatever deity is out there, finally a seat."
Selan was completely overwhelmed by the amount of new tarots that were being introduced. She thought it would be best if she let the others argue, just encase someone got hurt, then she could heal them. "Oh! Um...does anyone need any healing? My p-power is to use different healing spells." Selan might've been a little to quiet for anyone to hear, but she was to flustered to care. She tried to think of ways to get rid of the tension. "Maybe introductions will make everyone calm down?"
"You might be right. We need to be prepared, but I don't think either army is capable of sending a unit after us. Both sides had some heavy losses and you and I are very dangerous, being part of the elemental tarot cards." Enya sheathed her dagger and entered the house, seeing the Death Tarot talking amicably with Aurora. The silver haired girl could only shake her head at that sight. Aurora was way too nice for her own good. She suddenly felt the tiredness creeping up on her and like Nerus, she took a seat, grateful enough for the small reprieve that she didn't care about all the dust and grime that was coating the furniture. "Oh right, I got wounded when I blew up my ice wall. Could you take a look at it?" Enya tried to smile at Selan, but wasn't really succeeding, her energy levels were dropping fast. "It is on my shoulder." She kept her mouth shut otherwise. She didn't really like to give out her name to strangers all too much.
Ignatius regained consciousness again outside the house and was able to slowly get back up. He was able to get himself to the doorway before his legs gave out. He reached up and knocked against the door. "Medic..." He said, trying to hold on to consciousness. "I need a medic. I need help."
Aurora walked to the door, standing on her tip toes to look out the peep hole of the door. She cracked the door open to find a man collapsed onto the floor, she closed the door quickly behind her. "Uh, we have a collapsed man at the door, should I bring him inside, he looks like he is hurt and is going to lose the ability to be awake." She had her hands already on the door knob wanting to bring the man inside quickly before he died, she was under the impression he was going to die and certainly didn't want that to happen.
"Oh look at that, it actually is an injured person." Lufu said, with slight surprise. He walked closer to the man and crouched a little, while intently observing him. "No blood, then? Pity." he mumbled to himself and sighed deeply. "But I'm not sure what to do with him if he's got nothing to offer for a snack..." Lufu pondered. He decided that it was a great moment to see whether someone could heal another person and, as such, found himself a comfortable chair, sat down and gazed upon the scene.
Ryllis had been with them for a while but decided to go out and do some scouting near the forest for any nearby stragglers. Upon returning to the vicinity of the house with a satchel full of fruits and some remnants of the battle she picked up, she noticed a slight commotion. Just what was going on? Were they part of Sefal? Nuhan? Or part of the army in general? Gripping the handle of her axe, she was about to take offence when she saw Aurora help the injured person in. She supposed she had better wait a while before she entered. Not a fan of crowds, she decided to wait a little more before she got inside. If there was someone else that may have entered their residence out of her range of sight...to say the least, she would have wanted to watch out, but her eyelids were drooping and she was finding it hard to stay awake. Leaning against the nearest tree, she murmured to herself, trying to keep awake.
