How good are you at traditional games? Can you play chess? Do you plunge your adversary into financial ruin in monopoly, or stun them with your general knowledge in Trivial Pursuit? Did you play many board games and the like growing up, or will you only play a game if it's electronic?
I love table top games. My personal favorites have to be Monopoly. During the hurricane incident that happened in Puerto Rico, we didn't have much else to do though, so a bunch of table top games became stale after a few weeks of none stop playing.
Chess. I can play that board game like no one's business. Well, I'm not a professional who can make a move in less than a second, but I like to consider myself good at it. Connect 4, Sorry, Monopoly, and Checkers, are also games I excel at with my knowledge of moves, and the "ability" to "predict" moves. (It's actually just about reading the player and the board. Nothing rough)
I like playing table top games, but most of my Friends prefer playing electronic games so I mostly don't play table top games. My favorites are Chess, Scrabble and Taboo (Is this the english name for this game? idk)
I like board games. My favorites are probably Monopoly and a Pokémon board game I have. (I think it’s called Pokémon master trainer?) I don’t play card games that much because I don’t know a lot of card games. My brother taught me and my sisters a game called Liar and I like it. My favorite card game is Uno and I play it a lot with my family.
I love board games, but not the ones like Monopoly or Sorry or anything like that. I like games like Seven Wonders, and Ticket to Ride, and Shadow Hunters. These games are simple enough for me to understand, but complicated enough to make it fun. I can't stand the board games that are, like, three to five hours long. If it's longer than one hour, I'm not interested.
I like board games, but generally prefer to play electronic games. When I play monopoly or any other board game, I play to win but am very bad at what ever game I play. Though I found that if I start watching how professionals play, I start to think and play like a professional. Its how I got into the PTCG, I just watched the 2015 world champion, picked up a deck and started playing.
Here I thought this was a thread about stuff like fantasy football. And then I open it to find out that it’s nothing like it. I’m disappointed. But I can play games like chess. Currently undefeated in monopoly with my extended family. I know how to play poker with a few variants along with other card games.
