What is the worst typing a Pokémon could possibly have? We've seen some amazing combos, not too many bad ones, but can you think of a bad typing combo for a Pokémon?

I think Grass/Bug is pretty awful. The typing gives you a good amount of weaknesses, two of which are x4 weaknesses being Fire and Flying. I used Leavanny on my team once, and he was good, but I was always having to switch him out due to the fact that he was weak to the opponent.

I personally think an Ice/Bug mix would be terrible. Don't get me wrong, Ice-types are good, but the type itself is bad defensively. A 4x weakness to Rock and Fire wouldn't help either. Neither type would patch up the weaknesses of the other (aside from Ice being able to check Flying-types). An Ice/Bug would be interesting to see, but it would have to be really good to deserve to be used.

Abomasnow though hes one of my favorite Pokémon probably has one of the worst typings ever Grass/Ice. So Many Weaknesses. Same with Hydreigon I love it to death but Dark/Dragon? 4 Weaknesses plus 5 in in X/Y adding fairy. That is incredibly bad typing.

I'm gonna agree with Red Scizor.Bug and Grass, Two x4 weaknesses and I just kept storing him in the PC. Lol Sorry Leavanny!

This is what I had in mind when I saw the thread title. A 4x weakness to fire and rock, still innately weak to flying, and on top of that it now loses the bug type resistance to fighting, making it take that damage normally. Not a great combo.

They aren't hit by Spikes and Toxic Spikes, but Stealth Rocks does hit them. In fact, it was made just for the purpose of hitting Flying-types.

Grass/Psychic, Rock/Ground and Grass/Ice are pretty much tied for most possible weakness. But I'm going to say the worst type has to go to Bug/Flying, overused combination and very weak to rocks.

The type combinations with most weaknesses are Psychic/Grass (Exeggcute/Exeggutor/Celebi) and Grass/Ice (Snover/Abomasnow). 7 Weaknesses each. Pretty strange a legend is tied for most weaknesses...

Grass and poison. They're the two with the most weaknesses.

Fire and ice! Haha, just something random I came up with... it would probably be good against various types but it would just seem really weird to me. :P

4x weakness to Stealth Rock is not nice :/

On contrast, an Electric/Steel Pokémon with Levitate has 2 weaknesses, 13 resistances, 1 immunity and 1 normal damage.

    THIRTEEN.

But Psychic/Rock is also pretty bad.

Ice, Bug, Grass and its mixtures are the worst types in the game.

On the other hand, the Steel/Fairy typing seems to be one of the best combinations in the game so far, and the next one can be a possible Dark/Fairy typing Pokémon.

My Noivern says "FU" to Steel/Fairy, haha.

At this point, though, I really hate the Psychic/Fairy combination, just because it's so OP'd. But as far as underpowered goes, Dragon/Flying, Bug/Grass(even though I love Leavanny) and Rock/Ground aren't all that great. It's bad, when my unevolved Buizel OHKO's a Dragonite, with Ice Beam.

What about Grass/Bug? 4x Weakness to Fire, Ice, and Flying.
