Seems appropriate to ask this considering the time of year. Do you have a phobia? Do you have an irrational or rational fear? What is something you're embarrassed about being afraid of?

I'll admit, I'm a little embarrassed rosary I'm afraid of elevators. I don't know why, but I'm afraid the cable will snap and fall

I myself have a rather odd fear, but also a perfectly reasonable one. I am afraid of my friends suffering from an irreversible misfortune that I was powerless to stop - or at least, that's the most obvious way it manifests. It stems from a fear of not being in control of something.

If I'm in control of something, either fully or partially, I have a reasonable degree of influence over how an event or situation will play out. If I have no such control, and/or cannot acquire it, I can only stand idly by and watch it play out to its eventual end - even if it's something I don't like or want to happen. And, the closer in proximity that event is to my heart and mind, the more terrifying and painful it is to watch.

And that is the only thing I am afraid of.

I have a lot of irrational fears in video games, haha. Travelling far from where I spawned in open-world games, crossing the ocean (in open-world games), getting lost or dying in caves (minecraft-specific), etc etc... oh, and also going to different dimensions, which, again, is minecraft-specific. Of course, with that notion when entering dungeons in Skyrim, when the loading screen hits I just get super paranoid. And there's another fear! Dungeons in open-world games! im weird

But, other than that, I'm a little paranoid about elevators, and I really don't like touching bugs. Maybe because I'm paranoid they'll bite me? And that they'll be poisonous? I dunno. :P

I've gotten so many fears that have been added over time, that I was never afraid of. I guess me, Ho-Oh, is more of a scaredy-bird than Lugia.

The night: I am afraid of the night (just Ho-Oh). Well, not really, but I just get scared every time I get to bed thinking that a spider will bite me (I love spiders actually). Especially playing the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Gerudo Desert area at night... well, it wasn't that bad. When at night, and I see the open sky, while I do see it's beauty, I'm afraid of seeing meteors or something happening in space even though it's not real.

Humans: Yes, it's true, I sadly admit, as most people I know are really nice. It's just that the majority of people I've met have hurt me one way or another, either through hurting those I love or me. I've always experienced people being cruel and unkind to animals, and I pity the animals so much, I put myself in their situation, often ending up fearing humans myself. I get scared to talk to many people because I fear that they will judge me or make me feel sad. I don't know why, but I never expect a human to be kind to me. I can't trust people either, I fear too. Sometimes, when I go to a mini restaurant or bar, I think that the chefs will maliciously poison my food for fun, or whenever I walk, a person will push me or harm me. In saying that, it's not everybody. I love my family and my teachers and my sister. It's only that people have displayed bad moral use in front of me. I sometimes get anxious talking to people.

Judgement: I've received so much judgement from people that I'm afraid to talk to them. People gossip about me, say mean jokes about me and judge me. Why? I haven't done anything. Perhaps I'm different. Oh well, it's a least of my concern.

Also another thing, I'm afraid of sports equipment. I flinch easily, so when a soccer ball, for example, comes near me, I flinch and enter a defensive pose.

I wouldn't call my fears "irrational". I'm afraid of heights, being alone (in the dark) and being in pain. These three fears often dictate my actions.

I'm afraid of losing people I really care about. It terrifies that one day they may pass and I'll never have the chance of seeing again. Talk about a fear man.

I have panphobia, a fear of everything, if it exists I'll come up with some irrational way to fear it. The biggest ones are abandonment, losing those close to me, failure, making mistakes, and getting sick.
