Things that annoy you about the GTS

HEY GUYS ILL TRADE YOU THIS MAGIKARP FOR A DARKRAI THAT YOU CAN'T TRADE ON THE GTS.

This is basically what the GTS is 50% of the time if not more than that.

Why can you request event only Pokémon that can't be traded over GTS.....

 

Yeah just unreasonable or impossible trades there really dumb, sometimes it can be hard to find a trade for something simple that you need.

 

Unreasonable or impossible trades are the banes of my existence. I never use the GTS haha.

 

The only thing the GTS is good for is Pokédex completion, if you offer your Pokémon for something that isn't outrageous, i guarantee you it will go through. I hope gamefreak patches the GTS so event Pokémon are not able to be traded over >:c

 

I really dislike when someone offers a Pokémon and wants a level 1-9 Legendary. I'm like wtf how do they expect to get that.

That's the GTS summed up pretty well, with the mental deterioration it causes included.

Seriously, the most annoying thing must be the delay between trades. You initiate a trade with someone, you have to wait a while, and then the message appears, saying that the Pokémon has already been traded. Uuuuugh -_-

 

Everyone else has already said the exact same thing I would. The only time the GTS really helped me was when I was completing my National Pokédex in X before Bank released. Other than that it's not a fun time for me whatsoever.

 

I hate how it's full of ridiculous trades that no one will bother with. I'm sorry but I won't offer a lv. 100 Dialga for your lv. 1 Froakie and that just.. won't change. Please stop taking up precious GTS space with these sorts of things. And what makes it worse is that they're so common - any fair trades go through quickly enough so I have to sift through 20-30 of these unfair ones to find something that I might be able to go with.

 

This pretty much, it doesn't matter what you want, they'll always ask legendaries :/

 

pretty much all the dumb trades. if someone wants a legendary better. don't put up a froakie for trade. unless you're asking for a hacker to trade then thats just. i don't know never mind... bah@gts

 

I despise those people who lie about egg moves on their Pokémon. I'm just trying to breed good Pokémon.

 

Gosh, I really dislike GTS most times. I don't have access to Pokebank or Poketransfer because it isn't available in my country so I go online to the GTS and there are people asking for stuff that's basically impossible for me to get just for a Level 1 Pokémon that I needed for the Pokédex entry.

And now that I want to collect the different versions of Sawsbuck and Vivillon it is just about impossible because they keep asking for legendary Pokémon I might have (but that isn't fair so a definite no) and those that I don't. Bleh

 

To repeat everyone else, Ridiculous or impossible trades, but also that you can't specify specifics of Pokémon; Shiny only, etc. It's just be nice to know you'd get a shiny, rather than just putting it as the message and hoping for the best.

 

I always disliked those ridiculous trades, and wished there was an option to disable those searching for ALL legendaries (as opposed to "Special Pokémon" and then you still see people wanting Latios, Entei, etc.).

Also I really wish that you could make a bit more specific requests, like when you ask for a Pokémon and ask for its HA or Nature for example. I wanted a Telepathy Ralts (or any of the line) and said that in my message. I put my 5 IV Growlithe there. Then the Ralts ends up having Synchronize... Like really? >__>

 

Ridiculous trades, I rarely have found good offers

 

All I remember of the GTS was the stupid, low level legendaries that made me want to cry.

 

One thing that annoys me is the lack of name filter. Pokémon with obscene names are allowed to be placed on, which is abused by the community, and that's just not right.

Oh yeah, and I'll jump right in and agree with everyone else about the stupid trade offers on the GTS... seriously, GTs, Deoxys is no longer worth all the event Legends you ask for, it's easily (well, that's debatable) gotten now by any player.
