Things you do in long car rides?

Playing my 3DS just to avoid get bored, or if i have my headphones and phone with me i listen to the music i have and start imaginating

 

Attempt to doze while plugged in to my music, play the 3DS, surf the web with my phone, watch a movie with my bro, sometimes even try to write a new fanfic chapter.

 

I actually just stare out the window. Watching the scenery go by is really enjoyable and can last me for many hours unless I'm stuffed between two people in the back seats. Love my window seat. Music never holds me off as I hardly listen to it and tinkering on the phone will make me carsick after a minute or two.

 

Sometimes I like to look out the window and see how nice it is where we are. But oftentimes I have my 3DS or another gaming system to kill time with, or music, or my phone with internet capabilities. If it's late at night i'll sometimes snooze.

 

I do this. All the time. And I thought I was the only one doing that.

Seriously, it's like dreaming, but I can actually create the whole dream myself. Also, I haven't been able to remember a dream in years, so that isn't helpful either xD And of course it's all while listening to great music!

 

I am not able to sleep in a car. Ever.
I also can't read or stare at my phone/3DS for too long or I'll get dizzy.

So until I had an actually way to listen to music, I used to stare out of the window and look at the landscape and stuff, now I still do the same, but with the addition of music xD

 

I pretty much either play on my 3DS or listen to music and watch the landscape roll by. I can't ever close my eyes unless I'm going to fall asleep right then because I get carsick, but I just kinda zone out and think about stuff. Sometimes I'll think about my stories I'm currently trying to write and expand on them in my mind, or I'll just think about stuff that's happened recently and what I want for the future. I think a lot in car rides.

 

I play my 3DS for the most part until I get bored and then I just kind of sit there.

 

Not much. Just stare out the window and think about life, haha. Sometimes I'll play my 3DS but most of the time I'll just do a lot of talking, so I'm not being too rude.

 

Well most of the long car rides I've done are with my family, and its impossible to tune them out since they are all so loud when awake. xD What I usually do is play games with my siblings. My older brothers have 3ds' as well, so we all usually do some multiplayer games while the younger siblings watch us and over enthusiastically scream when someone wins or loses. Sometimes we do team plays with one of my sisters vs my two eldest brothers, or we just play individually and hand a DS to the younger siblings even though they have no idea how it works. xD This sometimes lasts the entire drive because we all take turns and make up different kinds of competition bets and such. Though when its time for the little kids to take a nap, I usually just read a book or listen to music with my headphones and look outside the window and imagine a bunch of different random scenarios.

 

I either sleep (depends on how tired I am + how long the ride is), play vidya, or listen to my music and daydream (which sometimes results in my falling asleep).

 

I play my 3DS until the battery dies, then I'll resort to watching downloaded anime on my computer, and between those, I'll take breaks to sight see.

 

I either listen to music or sleep, sometimes even both depending on how long they are.

 

I usually listen to music, or play my 3DS. Occasionally I'll draw but usually I don't, because I find it difficult to do in the car. I can't sleep in a car though, unless I'm like passing out tired, I can't fall asleep.

 

I either listen to music, play something on my 3DS, or I just fall asleep because why not.

 

I listen to music or go on my laptop (my phone generates wifi hehe). I can't go on my 3DS cause I get motion sick ;-;

 

I usually play my 3DS in the car for long, boring car rides. Though, I can't play my 3DS or read or anything on windy roads, or I'll get nauseous x.x

But my favorite thing to do on long car rides is just talk to whoever is in the car. I can't always do that though.

Worst case, I don't really mind just staring out the window.
