What are some of the objects/things you have trouble with when it comes to drawing? Is it people as a whole? Clothing? Getting that gosh darn other eye to look right? I struggle so bad with people. Going from never drawing a person for ten years to trying to learn how to draw people is the worst time. I also have a bad time with proportions but references save me every time.
I struggle a lot with people too, especially hands, arms, and the neck area (connecting the head to the neck is a nightmare for me. I can never get it to look right). I am trying to learn at the moment though and I have noticed some improvement. My proportions still look a bit weird at times, but it's still much better than what I was drawing years ago. *Looks at my old drawings of people and shudders* I struggle a lot with buildings too, and cars, and detailed landscapes.
Everything. I feel like I have trouble with everything that's more than just really basic shapes. Mostly that I have trouble trying to sketch things out or anything, so I tend to go straight to drawing the final thing without any basis to work with. The results are... mixed. I also can't seem to get myself to draw regularly enough to actually improve or anything.
The one thing that's always given me the most trouble is human faces. I can easily handle the faces of most animals, but when I try anything without a muzzle, I can never get it to look right.
Backgrounds/landscapes, vehicles, most furniture, items.. I also struggle with drawing males, their body shape is different than females and I've had years experience on drawing women..not men..
I mainly have trouble with people in general. I find it very complex to make people look right. But hey, that's why I specialize in drawing animals.
Canine/feline bodies are difficult for me to draw. I guess I just never drew them that much, but I tell ya it's a struggle to get different poses down. And I would also say humans... except I pretty much never draw them any more lol.
Hands... Hands are an absolute nightmare. I dunno how people draw them, but I have so much respect for them. That, and animals. Animals are hard man ;___;
Hands...they're just so freaking hard. I mean, so are feet, but those are a lot easier to hide than hands are. The only positive side is that over time I've gotten pretty good at hiding my hands and feet in my drawings without making it super obvious that that's what I'm doing.
Yeah, there's a handful of people who would meet all the requirements to be part of it. I've personally had problems with hands before, but not big enough to take the spotlight. I think feet are harder, tho. If I had to think of something I've had real problems drawing that would be faces. It takes me a lot of time to consider them well drawn enough. I think I'm going to practice them soon
I'm really bad at drawing people. I never get the anatomy correct. I also have trouble drawing feet and hands. I always use a reference for those.
You can’t really hide the profile, when you can hide hands. Which I try to do all the time to be very honest
