Things you miss from X/Y

I really miss customization because it kind of made me feel a little more unique from other players, but ORAS is completely fine without it either way.

 

I miss that long road in front of the day care. That was perfect for hatching eggs. ORAS has a smaller version in front of the Day Care Annex but it's not the same

 

I guess the trainer customization. I really miss that a lot. The trainer customization shows more of you rather than the character you are playing as.

 

I really miss not knowing where Mr. Bonding came from.

 

I miss a clear path that you could bike on for hatching eggs, and I miss the picture opportunities. :c

 

The customization is the biggest thing I miss too... not much other postgame differences I can think of, at least negative

 

Honestly, I don't really miss anything from X/Y. I mean, we get to fly to individual routes! Isn't that crazy? Revolutionary, I tell you.

 

I miss the trainer customization. I know that they just wanted to have the original characters, but it would've been really cool to have it as an option. People don't have to do it.

I think we all agree that not being able to customize your character is something we miss =(... I also kinda miss the roller skates lmao...

 

I have to concur with the customization, I was thinking it'd be nice even if it was only for the contests, so you could try to match your contest type. Oh well, other then that though, I don't think there's anything specific that I miss

 

I miss the Friend Safari...Easier to get Shinies that way...I loved character customization too but i know it probably won't be back as it is just exclusive to the Kalos region right now... Maybe in the next games...

 

I can't really think of any major things that I miss from X&Y. The Trainer Customization was never too important to me anyway, and I heard that there is a new long road for hatching eggs as well, so that's not an issue anymore either... The Safari Zone is the only thing I can think of right now, but I haven't actually been to the Safari Zone in Hoenn quite yet, so I don't know which one I'll find better.

I want my clothes back . I was a Popular person in Luminose City, now I am a willage guy >.<. Maybe that is why customization was removed, popularity was a bad message and Pokémon/Game Freak doesn't like to give bad messages about life. That is why they make "Solar Panels" everywhere, and foints of enery pure and clean in the game

 

I do miss the customization, and having less HMs to force on your team. Other than that, there isn't much ;c

 

Customization and PR Trainer video. I've always enjoyed both features mainly the PR Trainer video. It was a lot of fun and enjoyable to use. As a film maker it became easier for me to create little fun videos. I wished they brought that back. I feel they might bring the customization back for the new Pokémon games instead of for the remakes. I can see that being the most logical sense.

 

I'm surprised to see just so many people saying that the customization is the biggest thing they miss... I really don't mind it all that much, to be completely honest... I mean, it was a nice feature in X&Y, but it's not like I really miss it in ORAS at all! Or is there something that I'm missing here?

 

Everyone's already said it, but I would have to agree that the customization was nice in X and Y. I was hoping for something similar at least for ORAS, but since it is a remake I guess I could understand why they didn't. Oh well. Maybe in the next original game they'll do something more with customization. They did add a ton of new stuff for these new games anyway, so I'm still happy in the end.
