Does anyone else encounter this thing, where people tell you or imply that you should feel bad about something, but you don't. You feel more guilty for not feeling bad than what you 'should' feel bad for.

Eeyup. I have Aspergers, so I have a social disconnect thing where this happens a lot. It creates some really awkward situations.

There's one thing I really should feel bad about... Dragging [member='karatekid770'] to Lake Valor... But I don't really feel sorry though :)

I also have Asperger's, so I deal with a lack of empathy. This leads to plenty of these situations.

Wow, there's a lot of us here. I really don't understand how people can get so worked up over so many silly things.

i've got ADHD and PDDnos , which means i got symptoms of autism, but i haven't really got autism... people say i'm just like everybody else, some of my friends had no clue i had it...it does't mtter what you have or who you are, everybody should be treated the same way.

I don't like to keep in touch with my family, and I feel guilty for not feeling bad about that. :c When I share that with people, responses are often something like "But, they're your family!" "But your parents spent all that time raising you!"

Perhaps it's the fact that most of my growing up was my parents going through a very rough time and not being able to really pay much attention to me at all, but I simply don't feel obligated to continuously chat them up these days or keep them constantly updated on what I'm doing. I love them, of course, very much, but I don't feel like I owe them anything... and I persistently feel guilty about it.

I should feel guilty about not spending any time really with my friends out of school, but I don't. They're exhausting.

I should probably feel bad for not liking movies, but I don't. I heard enough about Guardians of the Galaxy and Frozen at school anyways.

I should feel bad about stealing food from people, but I mean I still do it since I'm always hungry. As long as they don't get extremely mad, I'm content with continuing to steal food.

If someone is in a position they are incapable of handling well, I have zero qualms with sabotaging, undermining, and doing everything in my power to get that person replaced with someone better suited to the job. I'll throw people under the bus, dismantle someone's work, and be completely unfazed by their reaction to this (assuming they figure out I'm responsible, which is rare). That being said, I will do my best to support someone well equipped to handle a task. A competent leader I respect and support, an incompetent one will be subjected to every weapon at my disposal until they improve or cease to be a leader.

I've been told I should feel bad about this. I do not. Leadership isn't about tradition, relations, or seniority - it's about results. If someone fails to produce results, they are not a leader, and should not be treated as such.
