For years now we have wondered exactly what is out there, in the vast reaches of space. We have had several "sightings" of spacecraft of unknown origins, and even people reporting encounters with extraterrestrial beings. Do you believe in the existence of life on other planets? Do you think that we may have had visitors from beyond the stars? Are aliens out there, or are they purely fictional?
Do I believe in aliens? No. Do I believe in extraterrestrials that live among the stars on planets other than Earth? Yes. I've never been one for conspiracy theories, but I understand the idea of how life could have originated on other planets. I believe they may have visited us for a time of their lives before going back and exploring places well beyond our reach, but I also believe they may live among us as humans as well. I'll just sum it up in one phrase if that's boring: I believe there is life except for us out there that may be among us.
In the department I do most of my studies, there is literally a subsection right next to our computer lab dedicated to finding life on other planets. I have also studied the methods done to try to detect life, and I've seen the entire universe as we know it. What I think is that there is life out there, intelligent, heck if I know. I'm pretty sure there's at least plants on some planet, but when you try to look for space fairing intelligent life, you have to consider all the years of trials that had to be done to reach such a point. Put simply, it makes the odds astronomically low, literally. We ourselves are super lucky to have gotten to the point we currently are. Do you know that solar systems are usually unstable, but ours has been surprisingly stable the past few hundred thousand years. Not to mention finding life is one of the hardest sciences I've ever come to know just because its applying every science we know in existence, except philosophy. To sum, I think there is life among the stars, but intelligent life is something I highly doubt existing long enough to reach our planet (especially when you consider how young the universe is, we may be the first intelligent species for all we know).
But Based Of What We Find On Our Solar System, There Is Possible Life On Juipter's Moon, Europa With Two Saturn's Moons, Enceladus And Titan. The Only Way We Can Find Out Is To Explore More On Those Moon.
I have no doubt in my mind that other intelligent life exists somewhere in the universe. There are so many planets and stars out there that the odds of the human race being alone are slim to none. As for the conspiracy theories that claim they’re on the Earth? Pure fiction. If aliens actually lived among us, it would’ve been public knowledge ages ago. Kind of hard to keep information like that secret.
It's reassuring to know that not many people are suspicious of my presence on this planet, at least. Everyone above has said their pieces pretty well, but I'll say a short version that makes sense to me: how do we know that the event that started the first life here didn't also start life elsewhere? Natural or supernatural, if it happened here, I'm not going to suggest that the same thing couldn't or didn't happen elsewhere.
