So for the longest time, I'd see "E3" and think, "ah, something like the Elite 4?" I was wrong, it's a video game expo thingamajig! What are your thoughts on this event? Enlighten me about it. Also, just talk about it in general! Anything goes!
You know. I've heard of E3, but I never really watch anything related to the subject. I usually let my friends tell me about it, but it never really peaked my interest.
I definitely try to keep up with the announcements that come from it, so I’ll watch some youtube videos on it. But I’m not interested enough to put aside time to actually follow it all. also, Vig you idiot
Without a doubt the best time of the year for gamers imo. News about consoles, updates, sequels, new stand alones. Everything's there and I love every moment of it... except for Microsoft, they usually bore me. I'm especially hyped about this year because the PS5 is all but confirmed, so I'm expecting to see news about it on Sony's Conference.
I agree with this. E3 is such an important event for the gaming industry. I am so excited for the E3 this year! Especially for Nintendo's conference, with the new Console being a year old, the new AAA-games should be starting to pour soon and I am really hoping that we will at least see the FE, AC, and Pokémon games for the switch being announced and that we get updates on Smash 5. Also Sony, please gimme a few new (J)RPG's.
Since it's something relevant to the gaming industry, E3 is something at the very least I try to pay attention to. On the off chance it might have a game I like announced, then I will have something to look forward to, but even if not, we could at least see some interesting news. It will also show what direction the industry seems to be taking...usually. I'm not always around to watch the press conferences so I try to get the details from my friends later about it if I must, but I like watching them if I can because I always have bingo cards ready. The bingo cards are the best part, really - they give you chances to laugh and screw around.
I'm not the kind of person to sit on the edge of my seat for hours to watch 15 announcements I don't care about, to get to the one that actually interests me. I'll just see the results the day after. Youtuber ProJared usually makes recap videos for each major developer though, usually I'll watch those too.
