Then let me go to either Walmart or Gamestop. If we do have a LV Minecraft Server, it will have to be Realms and either someone gets a freebie trial and after several months lose it or have a Minecraft Realm Subscription.
Minecraft sounds super fun, my friends all have played it at least once (multiple have held private servers just for friends, bf was playing the Digimon Mob mod before his computer kicked the bucket)..however my own internet connection and computer over all can not handle games that well. It struggles with a 2D sprite MMO, so a full 3D game as expansive as MC worries me. Plus the fact you have to pay monthly for it? (my ex had to pay monthly for it years ago, not sure if that's still how it is) For now I'll admire the various add-ons and mods from afar..
I've had Minecraft from the beta, and not once have i had to pay a subscription. What you may be thinking of is the Minecraft Realms hosting service which is a monthly subscription. _____ As for the game itself, I loved it back in 2012-2014, just the banter you could have with friends and strangers online plus creativity really shone with servers that featured hunger game like modes, parkour races and even simple building challenges. Not too sure what it is like nowadays, but I recently redownloaded and plan to try it out.
i like minecraft because it is a sandbox game where you can litteraly do anything you want and there are not many games that allow for that.
I like building things and making farms when I play survival. I'm working on a huge build, involving a city, a castle, and a huge mage tower. Here's a couple screenshots~ Spoiler
That's how I first got into it. The saves weren't very stable though and they kept getting corrupted, so I eventually got the legitimate version.
I also like Minecraft, but I only play the Creative Mode, since I need the diamonds for an enchanted armor which I never will use. I never play survival mode though, because I am a noob. ...I hate Creepers.
I used to be obsessed with Minecraft. I still enjoy it, although I've lost connection with everyone I used to play with, so eventually I stopped playing hardly ever because I had nobody to play with, and talking to new people on a server is very awkward for me. However, if I found a group to play and build with, I think I would definitely get back into it.
I haven't played Minecraft in a while but it was always very enjoyable when I did. I have it for PC/Xbox and would be willing to pick it up again. Used to play on a server with friends from another Pokémon forum and it was a blast ^^ Worked together to build structures and ended up making a pretty epic town with different sorts of "shops". I also got bored with all my other games for a while and committed around a month to build a massive floating castle of stone brick....in survival mode xP
