Thoughts on The Underground

It was fun, but I don't think I ever really got that into it. I made a base, but it was bland and sucky, and I never played the flag game.

 

i liked the fact that you can get fossils and rocks in the underground and thats it i never liked that much the underground and the bases weren't that great

 

I liked the underground because it gave me things like heart scales and shards, but I never really had friends to play with me, so... it didn't really work for me with the underground.

 

My first experience with the Sinnoh Underground was meh at best. Alright, I got a cool fossil or an evolution stone, and that was cool.

And then I brought my DS to school. After school, I got to be one of a large group of kids that got to stay after school, be it for tutoring or just because parents were out working. Myself and a regular group of five or six other kids, with the occasional extra player on Fridays, would have a blast in the Sinnoh Underground.

Just imagine what it would be like at a convention center with five hundred people in the Underground at the same time. Flag game hype?

I'm really hoping ORAS does something like that. That'd be a blast.

 

I really liked the underground, but I felt that there was some underdeveloped potential. For instance, it would have been kinda cool if you could use it to travel, since it corresponds roughly to the overworld, Also if it would take the first Pokémon in your party for small matches, or egg hatching that could be coolI just never had enough people to have tons of fun. I did enjoy my time though, and i miss being able to easily find fossils like that.

 

I LOVED the underground. I'd set up rows of traps that flung people halfway across the map whenever they got near my base. The look of fury on their faces was beautiful. It also didn't hurt that I got free items for mining.

 

Because I have only played the Sinnoh games on an emulator, where the Underground feature doesn't work at all, I've never actually seen it myself. But, from what I've heard, it sounds like a cool addition to the game, so I wouldn't mind seeing it return in a later game!

 

The underground is amazing, if there will ever be a Sinnoh remake, that's what I'll look forward to the most

 

I can say it again and again and again, I love the underground. The music is catchy and it's a great incentive for me to look around for fossils and stones. It was my absolute favorite method to obtain stones and I ended up with.. a looot of them. Not enough though, but a lot nonetheless! Which wasn't a problem because it gave me a reason to go back.

The underground was amazing. I actually spent a lot of time down here, and it was great fun. Man, I have so many great memories of these games, haha.

 

I loved the underground! I spent a lot of time, whether I needed items from it or not. It was a little lonely though, besides the occasional hiker... So I got to test all my traps first-hand myself haha. I still enjoyed it though, it was one of my favorite things to do in post-game Sinnoh.

 

I found the underground to be an interesting little side-game, not only for the free roaming capabilities but because you had a chance to dig and find some cool items, like shards and Heart Scales.

I never really played with Secret Bases much here, though, the only reason I really cared was to get the Trainer Star in Platinum for getting my flag maxed. But as a whole, the underground was definitely not a useless feature.

 

I absolutely loved the Underground, it kept me occupied a lot when I was outside of my house and I could get fossils and such to sell for money and the Spheres, I could plant and then use for buying decorations. It was pretty fun making a secret based and running away from people when I got their flag xD

 

Going underground was one of my favorite things in D/P/Pt. It was a very fun way to find fossils, shards, heart scales, etc. at least to me. It also had secret bases, which was really cool, but I didn't really use it... I remember it being kind of difficult for me to collect furniture and stuff, for some reason.

But yeah, good memories with the underground. I wish I had had friends back when I played those games to go underground with.

 

The Underground was the best way to get free money and it was fun trying to get all the ornaments and getting rid of those rocks. I played all the time, and I really think that if a Gen 4 remake was made, this should be brought back and made much better. It's like the current ORAS business with the secret bases. Though I never did use fossil Pokémon, it was fun finding all of the fossils and whatnot.
