Tips & Trivia about OR/AS

• Extreme power leveling: Someone made a secret base with 6 level 100 Blissey that all know Healing Wish (aka, they die immediately). Blissey gives the biggest EXP yield of all Pokémon. The QR code to access this is found here.
• Horde Pokémon count as 5 towards your Dexnav level.

 

Back then, we could only fly to cities and towns. But now, with OR/AS, we can fly directly to routes and cave entrances! How convenient is that I just discovered it when I was trying to fly to my secret base (which kinda worked in a way).

 

Want some more decorations for your secret base? Well, every Saturday, on top of the Lilycove Department store, there will be a salesman special decorations you probably won't find anywhere else.

 

If you show a mach bike to a hex maniac in the route 111 desert, then show the acro bike to the bird keeper in the acro bike area of route 119 (you need surf and waterfall), and lastly show either bike to a triathlete in the Battle Resort, talk to Rydel and he will give you both bikes to have at all times.

The Lake Trio & The Musketeers are catchable in the game. You will need to use the Soar feature in order to reach them. You can find the musketeers in the Pathless Plain & the Lake Trio in the Nameless Cavern. They will all be at Level 50. You need to soar back to these locations if you want to catch all members of both trios.

 

If you talk to a ninja boy in your secret base, they'll offer to find you rare stones. I've gotten dawn stones, dusk stones, hard stones, etc...

 

Be careful when trading Kyogre/Groudon and their respective Orbs. If you happen to trade Kyogre/Groudon to another copy of ΩR/αS before you restore balance to Hoenn, you will be unable to trade it back. If said Kyogre/Groudon is also holding their Orb and you remove it, you cannot reattach said Orb until you restore balance to Hoenn. (Trust me, I've had this happen to me firsthand!)

The only key to beating the story of ORAS if to get pokèmon your like

 

If you're down in New Mauville and you see clouds of dust, just stop. It's most likely an electrode, and you usually can't get away from them. If you try to run away from the dust clouds, sometimes it'll challenge you anyway. Only thing I hate about it. >

 

If you have to water multiple berry plants, just keep pressing left of right (depends on which way you're going) and you'll keep on watering.

Zinnia "confirms" the existence of alternate universes, which tells us how multiples of the same person going on the same journey with different outcomes and variables happen. The PSS is kinda like a connection between these universes.
