From Generation 4 and onward, the Pokémon games were brought out on a console with two screens: a top screen and a touch screen. In all of the main Pokémon games we've had so far, the Touch Screen had a different function: the Pokétch in DPP was a fun little gadget that could be upgraded with new features as you played through the game, the Touch Screen menu was used in HGSS as a shortcut to the menu and also to make the game better playable with a stylus, the C-gear in BWB2W2 was used to be able to communicate with others and the Internet in every place in Unova, the PSS in XY served as an upgraded version of the C-gear while it also had Super Training and Pokémon-Amie, and the Pokénav Plus in ORAS was like the upgraded version of the PSS.

What is your favourite touch screen function out of this list? Why? Tell us in this topic!

Touch screen menu in HGSS. it is good as you dont need to go to the main screen for menu. It made the ga.e play more convenient. And Pokénav plus in ORAS, you can find your opponents for battle in a range , info about your berries, pokemons etc..isn't it good? I think those two made game more interesting and good

I know I created a topic for this, but I rather love the Poketch. The Poketch is a great little device that allowed us to do all sorts of the things on the touch screen. HG/SS also did a great job of having us use the touch screen for things such as Voltorb Flip and the new menu. The touch screen has been used well in Pokémon. It hasn't been used too much or too little. I find it easier to battle with the touch screen, personally.

I loved the Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum version of the PokeGear. I liked the radar app it had, I found and tracked a Cresellia using it, I was so proud of that. I liked the step counter, it made egg hatching a bit more simplistic. I liked the doodle feature just because it was fun. I use the coin toss ALL the time, even now adays if I just cant find a coin. There was little I didn't like about it, maybe the map screen since it didn't make much sense to have a watch map, a map map, a flying map, all not usable together.

I really liked HG/SS touch screen functions. Not only did it make it faster to access the menu, but it let you auto-run and keep 2 registered key items on hand. I thought it was super useful to be able to switch between functions quickly.

That's way too hard because I love them all! Every one added a bunch of convenience to whatever game it was in. I played Gen 5 with a lot of my friends locally so, while that one is usually the least popular, I got a ton of fun use out of it. I wish I could have all of these in the same game, to be honest!
