Trainer Customization

Ah I really hope the 3D version character is customizable as much as those lil characters! I would definitely not wear a hat

 

I don't think it's even possible for me to get more excited for this game than I already am, but
YES I absolutely love this. I hope they have a lot of clothes for us to choose from. Do we have to buy them? Or perhaps complete sidequests to get more clothes? I really hope they do sidequests, it could give us more things to do after we beat the game.

 

I think the one 3 over on the bottem row kinda looks like Maka from soul eater

 

I like it, because the male trainer is not what I want for a Pokémon trainer that I control xD

 

Finally! This feature makes me so happy! Finally a mixed kid with curly hair can be a character in Pokémon!!!

 

I am absolutely with you on this! Side quests with clothes rewards?! Yes, please! I like dressing up and customizing my player (I always take too much time doing this) in games that do allow it. I really hope you can change your hairstyle. And I need a maid outfit, dammit!

 

I'm really pumped for this. In the past everyone looked the same, and if you didn't like how your trainer looked that was too bad. Now we get basically full customization of our trainers and it will be tons of fun to see what other people's characters look like!

 

But you can customize everything or only some things?

 

I'm really excited for the character customization! It always bugged me how overly girly the female characters seemed and with character customization I feel like I'll be able to do much more with the character and make it how I want it. I always felt weird using the guy characters, so.

I don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure in the Q&A session it was confirmed that you can change your hair and clothes as well as your skin color.

 

I love that they're finally letting you customize your characters! It's been a long time coming, and I think it fits X and Y's 'complete overhaul' vibe! I'm hoping we can buy different clothes for our characters. That would be too cool.

I think it's great that we finally have the opportunity to customize our characters. I've got pretty sick and tired of wearing a hat over the generations (I guess that was probably the mother's input there). I also think it's cool that you can change your skin tone. I feel that many people have been wanting to change that for a while too.

 

It's been official for quite a while then. I remember hearing about it because of the Q&A results in a video the same day that Fairy Type was announced.

 

Yes! I am so happy!! I've been waiting for character customization since the first time I played Pokémon! Now if only there was a maid outfit...

I quite like this aspect of the game. Now players can actually relate to the character more since it would resemble them. I think more people will believe that they are the trainer now, whereas they're used to controlling a white kid.

But seriously. I agree. Trainer customization will definitely make the game more immersive and I can't wait. What I'm waiting for, is being able to design your own customizations. That'd be the best.
