Transferring Pokemon

Im hoping so. If not I may go mad. Ive had some of these Pokémon for a decade! I am not leaving them behind!

 

They better be transferable! I think they may implement a way for you to be able to transfer them from your gen 5 game if it's in your slot and have downloaded X/Y off the eShop (kind of like gen 4's dual slot feature). And then the whole transfer them over by using two systems for those who bought the cartridge.

 

I'm sure they will be. With all the technology in the 3DS there to support it I don't see any real reason why they wouldn't include it. Especially since you can get WiFi right there on the system! You can even surf the internet on it!

 

I really hope they allow transfers from older games. Not that I will bring over my level 100s but I want to bring over some level 1s so I can roam around and train them! Of course I'll catch the critters that are in X & y but I wanna bring some of my favorites over.

 

They should implement trading Pokémon over. It won't be possible to complete a Pokédex without that feature, unless you can actually catch every single Pokémon in-game. If (when) they do, they should remove the annoying transfer minigame like the one in Gen 5. Took me around 3-4 hours to fully transfer 400-odd Pokémon from my Soul Silver cartridge to my White cartridge.

 

I sure do hope the Pokémon still transfer over because i would hate to have to use the GTS to get all of those other generational Pokémon.

 

Obviously they will. They can't NOT do it, really. A lot of people would rage, not even buy it and whatnot.
They'll find a way to transfer, as they always did, and it probably won't be so hard.

 

I really hope so. It would definitely make it easier to complete the dex, and I don't like trading with people via GTS. I don't think we will be able to transfer our old Pokémon until we beat the storyline, just like BW/BW2. They would probably use the Poketransfer machine again or maybe they'll have something like the Pal Park in Sinnoh.
Another reason why I want this is to see my old Pokémon battle in 3D.

They said that its going to take some work to make transferring possible as the 3ds and ds don't connect. I'm guessing they might be able to release a free software type of a thing to be downloaded on the e-shop. Although the issue with this is you would need wifi. That said I'm unsure as how they will make transferring possible but I know gamefreak will work hard until the do.

 

I thought of a way. It involves a temp storage system built into the PGL, kinda like Pokémon Box RS back in gen 3. You transfer your Pokémon into the box, and then pick them up with X or Y

 

I honestly hope so. I would be quite disappointed if not, because it's something they've found a way to do twice. I don't see why they can't do it again. Plus, there are some Pokémon that, let's be honest, we probably won't be able to get in the new games. If you can't migrate, then you can't even use those Pokémon in that GENERATION. That would SUCK.
