Alright, everyone, Nintendo's running a competition this month in celebration of Halloween. Chances are you've heard of it, but maybe you haven't. At any rate, all Pokémon are set to level 30, all Pokémon must be Kalos-Born, Giratina and Rotom are banned, only Ghost-Type Pokémon may be used, and you must have a Gourgeist on your team.

Think you see a sweet threat to use? Share it below. My money's on Spiritomb being a strong contender; with good bulk, access to Taunt to prevent shenanigans, and Sucker Punch to hit 9/10ths of the metagame (excluding Sableye and other Spiritomb?) for super-effective STAB priority damage. Share your thoughts below.

I'm not entering, but I'm expecting a lot of Sableye, Trevenant, and M-Gengar.
Of course Prankster Sableye, for Taunting and Will-O-Wisping and Knockoffing. Trevenant's fairly bulky, and Harvest+Sitrus Berry is always a good combo. Shadow Claw and Leech Seed will also be useful.
M/non-M Gengar for a fast special sweeper of course.

Mega Banette could also be pretty common as it has prankster and sucker punch as well. Not to mention it has a massive attack stat to go with it as well. Though you're definitely right about spiritomb, it is bulkier than it looks. Sableye could also be pretty common as its notorious for prankset abuse, especially with taunt, wisp, or recover. I probably wont be participating as well, as there seems to be a potential for way too much hax, with ghost types being notorious for.

I'm thinking of joining the competition though I haven't quite decided yet. I'm thinking of making a team with Sableye and Mega Gengar. Mega Banette might be cool to for ultimate priority powerzz
