So yesterday I stumbled across a playable version of Pokémon in Ao3. It's called Tropemon, its a parody of Pokémon in which fanfiction tropes serve as the game's Pokémon, where you can battle and train all kinds of tropes.

So that got me inspired to make some of my own. I won't be making a full game of course. Instead, I'm going to take some fanfiction tropes, and try to make some Fakemon based on them!

Heres the format I will be using:

    Name:
    Category:
    Type:
    Abilities:
    Description:
    Evolution:
    Trope:
    Notes:

And here's my example and first one!:

    Name: Soulost
    Category: The Connection Pokémon
    Type: Normal
    Abilities: Pick Up, Runaway, Frisk
Description: Soulost are very lonely Pokémon. They are born alone, yet crave for the attention and care that other Pokémon and people can bring. They go out on a journey to connect with someone. It is that connection with someone that becomes the basis of their evolution.
Evolution: Adorove (Max Friendship), Despdend (Min Friendship)
    Trope: Soulmates.
    Notes:
    - Soulost comes from Soul, Solo, and Lost
    - It is based on the idea of someone who has yet to find their Soulmate and is still looking for their partners.

Man, barely into this and I already have a rework coming up.

But now I'm gonna hit you with 3 different Fakemon.

    Solovos
    Name: Solovos
    Category: Bonding Pokémon
    Type: Normal/Psychic
    Abilities: Trace, Synchronize
    Description:
Solovos are very lonely Pokémon. They desperately seek attention and will often bond to the first living being they encounter, be it a Pokémon or a Human. Once bonded with someone, the Solovos will begin to grow and change into their evolved form. The relationship they have with their bonded partner will often be what decides how their evolution may turn out.
    Evolution:
Adolovos (Max Friendship), Despalovos (Min Friendship)
Trope: Soulmates (Those that are looking for their soulmates and/or beginning to form a relationship with them/
    Notes:
    - The name comes from Soul, Solo, Love, and Lovers
    - This is a slight rework on the first one I made here.
    - Solovos can be found in the wild and will chase you down if they see you.

    Adolovos
    Name: Adolovos
    Category: Loving Pokémon
    Type: Fairy/Psychic
    Abilities: Healer, Telepathy, Serene Grace
    Description:
When a Solovos has a positive relationship with their bonded partner, they will evolve into Adolovos. As a symbol of their bond with their partner, a second near-identical body is created resembling the evolved Adolovos. The two halves of Adolovos work in tandem as they help accomplish their bonded's goals. Their kind and caring nature also makes them popular Pokémon to work in schools and in Pokecenters. They are the more defensively-oriented evolution of Solovos, able to take hits and heal any damage they may take in battle.

An Adolovos' appearance can change based on the held item it has when evolving. Each Adolovos form has its own distinct moveset but retains the same stats. So far, 3 different forms have been discovered.

Adolovos - Blooming Form A Solovos can turn into a Blooming Adolovos if it was holding a Miracle Seed before evolving. This Adolovos has beautiful flowers blooming across its body which can both dampen the damage it receives as well as heal allied Pokémon.

Adolovos - Tethered Form. A Solovos can turn into a Tethered Adolovos if it was holding Silver Powder before evolving. This Adolovos has this bands of string around its body. But rather than restricting its movements, this actually protects the Adolovos as a bouncy shield of sorts.

Adolovos - Painted Form. A Solovos can turn into a Painted Adolovos if it was holding a Poison Barb before evolving. This Adolovos is significantly more colorful than its normal form with patterns even more vast and unique than a Spindas. Its colors highlight its strongest points, which makes its enemies make risky moves it can counterattack.

Adolovos' signature move is Destiny Heart. It is a Fairy type move that has a chance to boost one of its two defenses when used. It also has the unique ability to change types depending on the Adolovos form that uses it while still having a STAB effect. Normal - Fairy, Blooming - Grass, Tethered - Bug, Painted - Poison.

    Evolution:
    Solovos (Pre-Evo)
Trope: Soulmates (Healthy and loving Soulmate relationships.
    Notes:
    - Each Adolovos form is based on a different kind of Soulmate trope. I chose the most recognizable ones to make it easier to digest.
    - Originally Adolovos and Despalovos were supposed to get unique evolution items for their other forms. But I decided agaisnt that to prevent clogging up the items with more single use evolution items. Since Steelix and Scizor evolve with a type boosting item, I used that one here as well.
-Adolovos comes from Adore, Amore, Adorable, Love, and Lovers.
-Adolovos cannot be found in the wild.

    Despalovos
    Name: Despalovos
    Category: Betrayed Pokémon
    Type: Dark/Psychic
    Abilities: Intimidate, Prankster, Sheer Force
    Description:
When a Solovos has a negative relationship with their bonded partner, they will evolve into Despalovos. Because they did not get the care they needed prior to evolving, what would have been the second half of the Solovos is unfinished and mutated. As a result, Despalovos is very agressive and distrusting of others. It is still possible to befriend a Despalovos, but their form can never be changed and there is always some distrust from it. They are the more offensive-oriented evolution of Solovos, able to strike fast and strike hard before they can be hurt again in battle.

A Despalovos' appearance can change based on the held item it has when evolvung. Each Despalovos form has its own distinct moveset but retains the same stats. So far 3 different forms have been discovered.

Despalovos - Withered Form. A Solovos can turn into a Withered Despalovos if it was holding a Miracle Seed before evolving. This Despalovos has sharp thorns jutting out of its body with shriveled buds doting its body. Both aspects can be turned into very effective weaponry.

Despalovos - Frayed Form. A Solovos can turn into a Frayed Despalovos if it was holding Silver Powder before evolving. This Despalovos' strings can't help protect it from incoming attacks, but it can wield them masterfully as whips to strike enemies in.

Despalovos - Splotched Form. A Solovos cab turn into a Splotched Despalovos if it was holding a Poison Barb before evolving. This Despalovos' confusing and erratic muted patterns make it had for enemies to track, allowing it to get critical strikes when they are distracted.

Despalovos signature move is Destiny Void. It is a Dark type move that has a chance to boost one of its attacks when used. It also has the unique ability to change types based on its form while still having a STAB effect. Normal - Dark, Withered - Grass, Frayed - Bug, Splotched - Poison.

    Evolution:
    Solovos (Pre-Evo)
Trope: Soulmates (The bad end where the soulmates either dont get together or something terrible happens to them)
    Notes:
    - Each Despalovos form is based on a different kind of Soulmate trope.
    - Despalovos comes from Despair, Dead, Love, and Lovers
    - Despalovos cannot be found in the wild.
