    Hello! x3

*shoot pressed enter, not finished, omg wait pl0x*

I've known how to make userbars for quite a while, so pls don't reply with "uh... have u made an animuted 1 b4?!!2"
I've taken quite a break from graphic making, so I thought it'd be nice to make myself a userbar. However, I remember that every time I tried an animated one, I gave up because I had to paste

    every.

    single.

    frame.

into Photoshop. It got tiring and boring, so eventually I gave up. However, this is a Diancie userbar, and the Diancie sprite/model from pkparaiso has A WHOPPING 59 FRAMES.

Would there be a way for me to speed it up, by just opening the gif and it putting in the frames for me? Since in CS4 (I think I have CS4, but the folder says CS5, so it could be either one), going to File>Import>Video Frames as Layers makes the GIF non-transparent. Of course, another way would be to make the GIF transparent again, and then paste the userbar behind it. Either idea works, I think, and it'd be a huge step up.

Also, the Video Frames as Layers thing opens it up in a new tab.

    Thank you for reading! noseriouslythanks

I don't know much about graphics-making, but maybe you could try this.

    1) Open Diancie GIF in Photoshop.
    2) Use the crop tool to increase the size of the image.
    3) Paste the userbar under all of the Diancie GIF's frames.
    4) Export.

I'm sure there's an easier way but I don't normally deal with GIFs so I wouldn't know :p

^Exactly what I would say, however if you have 2 animated sprites, then you would have to paste the userbar under the one sprite, save it as a Gif and then paste it under the second sprite.

I would try it, but simply opening the GIF into Photoshop gives me a message that says "This is an animated GIF. You can only view one frame. Saving over it will result in a loss of information.", and it makes it not animated. :c

When you open a GIF, on the top bar, click Window > Timeline (I think) to see duration for each frame. You shouldn't just save it as a GIF, because that WILL only save one frame. You have to "Export it for Web" or something like that if you want it to become an animated GIF.
