Typography Tutorial - Basics

This is awesome! I've been planning on looking into typography and then you come up with this! Perfect timing, Ashe.

I really do hope you do another one like this. Super helpful for someone who knows not a whole bunch about this particular subject.

 

Typography is something really overlooked.

 

I knew a lot of this stuff already, but the way you put it together in this infograph is really well done. It does teach you a lot of things about typography without being extensive at all! You did a good job

Very nice guide!
If you end up doing a part 2, you can cover some of the more advanced things, like:
- Anti-aliasing (None, Sharp, Crisp, Strong, Smooth)
- Blending styles
- Text positioning (for signatures and stuff)
- Satix's nice abs
- Spicing up text
- Complementing colors (though you could do an entirely separate guide for this one)
- Making sure text compliments the piece
