Ugliest pokemon that you find cute or vise versa

'Ugly' Pokémon I find cute:

• Kartana
• Incineroar (a lot of people find it ugly)
• Toxicroak
• Simisage
• Aromatisse
• Shiinotic
• Alolan Dugtrio
• Xurkitree
• Magmar
• Stunfisk
• Skuntank

Cute Pokémon I find ugly:

• Happiny Line (especially Chansey)
• Cleffa line
• Celebi
• Manaphy. Phione is alright though.
• Goodra
• Dragonite
• Diancie
• Most of the Pikaclones (with the exception of Plusle and Minun). Dedenne is the worst offender.

 

I find Skuntank to be rather cute for some reason. Maybe it's because of the way I draw them, having them be super fluffy and whatnot.

 

The first ugly one that I find cute that comes to mind for me is Slugma and Magcargo. Sure, they're bubbling piles of scorching-hot slime with droopy faces (and overall anatomy), but I think they're adorable. I want to pick them up and hug them, despite the deadly burns I would suffer.

As far as cute Pokémon I find ugly, I can only think of Wigglytuff. Jigglypuff is perhaps my favorite Pokémon, but the change in anatomy and ears, plus its white face/belly just seems not cute.

 

I actually don't think Muk is all that bad...? Which is interesting to me because being sludge you'd think it would be one of the first candidates to be really unappealing, but I just... really don't mind it at all. I don't know if I'd go so far as to call it cute, though.

 

Sableye and Mawile are oddly endearing (Sableye especially). Dragonite is lame.

 

I've always really enjoyed the look of Drowzee. I don't think I'd say that Drowzee is cute (cute is just one term to describe something that looks good), but I definitely don't think that it's ugly. A Pokémon that I really don't like that was probably intended to be cute is Smoochum. Seriously, it's a baby Pokémon. They're the ones that are supposed to be the faces of cuteness, and Smoochum...yeah, I'm not a fan.
