With the announcement of two new Ultra Beasts in USUM, we can only hope that we will be seeing even more new kinds of Ultra Beasts in the games. What are some Ultra Beasts you would like to see in the game? What types would you give them and how would you describe their design? Ultra beasts have very unique designs that set them apart from other Pokémon, so embrace the creativity! I think it would be really neat if we had some sort of lava lamp like Ultra Beast. It could be sort of like a mix between Chandelure and Heatran in terms of design, with silver and purple as the base colors and the lava be a mixture of colors with a pink/purple glow like Shiny Magcargo's lava. It could be the first Poison/Steel type too!
I would like to get some kind of water form, something playing with the angle you see through it distorting it in some way
Kinda like gelatin maybe, gelatin desserts gives that nice distorted view when you look through 'em a sentinel jelly water UB that does weird jiggles every time it uses a move.
I'm hoping to see something depicting light as an energy. Maybe something that shoots particle beams. Yeah I know, original.
Well I would love to see them play more with angles since they have so many swapping battle angles when you are idol
I want to see a human-like Beast. If anyone knows Ryuk's original design, I want something like that. A zombie-ish, patchwork rag-doll thing, a bit like Banette, but...sadder, somehow. And it's cry could be all lonely. Maybe it's legend could be that it calls children away. And the Beast's name is Pennywise. Spoiler #MissingNo
Oooooooo, that would be really cool to see! I honestly like this idea, it makes me wanna sketch it out just for fun ^u^ But having that Steel/Poison typing would be pretty cool, because there probably wouldn't be that many weaknesses going for it too. That would be fun to play around with competitively!
I really hope they have good typing and can actually do something in regards with their movepools. Some pokes really suffer from good stats and the wrong movepool to go with it.
Instead of new ones, I'd rather see balances to old ones. I'm at the point where it feels like Nintendo/Game Freak is making designs I'll like completely useless on purpose. Pheromosa needs a SERIOUS attack debuff, for there's NO REASON it's attack should be so high. S. Attack MAYBE, but there's no reason anything THAT ****ING SKINNY should have high attack. On that note, Guzzlord needs serious buffs. God, every ****ing time, it's the big hulking meat-tank Pokémon that ends up being useless, and the anorexic stick-figure becomes overpowered as ****. EVERY ****ING TIME! So, honestly, I feel kind of offenced by Pheromosa and Guzzlord. Pheromosa needs nerfs to make it ballanced, and Guzzlord needs buffs. Also, IMO, UB Burst and Assembly are going to be it. There's not going to be any more new Ultra Beasts. ...Just calling it as I see it.
I kind of want to see some that look just enough like old legendaries to make it seem like they might be connected to them somehow, yet different enough that you can't quite be sure. I know that's kind of vague, but I feel like the whole point of Ultra Beasts is to be so random and varied in concept you wouldn't expect them at all.
I don't have many hopes for new Ultra Beasts at the moment, but I do hope the newly revealed ones have more reasonable stats. For instance, UB Assembly would be a giant wall, which is obvious. And UB Burst would likely have a lot of Special stats, but not much else. Just some balanced out stats will do it for me.
I'd love to see something based on radiation/atoms. I was thinking something like a Poison/Electric type (Maybe UB "Atomic"). It would kind of look like a bright purple, yellow, and neon-green Koosh ball with way too many eyes, with smaller koosh balls (also with eyes) orbiting it like electrons. Its body would have a weird fluorescent glow like those fiber optic wands. It would be on the smaller side, maybe like two feet tallish, but could poof up and release poisonous spores (Koosh balls, how many times will I have to say this XD) when it feels threatened. Stats-wise it would have tremendous Speed and Special Defense, along with decent Special Attack. However, it's Attack and HP would be pretty bad. Just for a quick run-up I got something like this: 47 / 31 / 71 /113 / 151 / 157 (It all adds up to that 570, and like the other UBs, prime numbers ftw! XD)
