So for Ultra Sun and Moon we're given the option to explore the Ultra Wormhole and meet pokémon not normally found in Alola and all while playing a mini game. What do you think of it? How far have you gotten? Did you meet any pokémon in particular you liked? Is also possible to change the controls of the Wormhole mini game by going to Game Freak's building and talk to the Aether Foundation Researcher/Employee there. He'll let you choose between montion capture or circle pad. Personally I prefer the circle pad option it makes things so much easier. I'm really enjoying the mini game actually, far more than I thought I would. I haven't really found anything particularly special aside from a Xurkitree and a Virizion. Currently just aiming to see of I can get to 5,000 light years just for the fun of it.
It's kinda neat having to travel into the dens of Ultra Beasts (It's always the white wormholes). The first one I got into was Guzzlord's, which was this huge toppled-over city that looked like something out of Fallout. And there was only one guy there in a sort of hazmat-looking suit. He calls Guzzlord "Mr. Glutton". That's adorable.
I've found two shinys so far!! A Quagsire and an Abomasnow! I've also found a ton of Legendaries, and actually have encountered every UB at least once! (Guzzlord really is hard to find >_>) It's a fun minigame for sure! My record so far is about 4700 I think!
This. Idc who asks, I'm calling Guzzlord Mr Glutton from now on. I really like the wormhole a lot. Typically I get bored easy when shiny hunting but this keeps me pretty engaged. So far I've found shiny Audino, Crustle and Barbaracle and a few legends. Right now I'm soft resetting for shiny Virizion. Yeah soft resetting is boring but what keeps me going is the thought that when I catch that shiny Virizion I can go back to wormhole running. I've only reached about 4200-4300 light years thus far. Like Karz I'm trying for 5k!
