Umm, hi?

    Hello, I guess this is my introductory thread or something. So, anyways, as you can see, my username is The TK, with TK being my initials, since I dont plan on unveiling my real name to the public anytime soon.
    Umm about myself? I struggle with somewhat low self esteem, but good friends have taken care of that. I also believe I suffer from ADHD, but it has never been confirmed by a doctor.
    Another thing about me is that I like to be weird. I dont know why, but I find people who pride themselves on being 'normal' very irritating. My friends are mostly that group of students that the rest of the class rejects on basis of looks or mentality. And before you say that wanting to be 'different' and being weird is the same thing, my friends and me have this alternative world in which a giant toy cat dubbed 'Lorde Katty' is trying to take over the earth. And the best part is, none of us are stopping him XD.
    The last important thing about me is that I am an aspiring horror author. However, I can write stories of other genres as well, in that sense I am flexible.
    Something about Pokémon?
    Well, I really dont have a favourite generation of Pokémon. In the matter of games, though, I feel the winner is straight out Pokémon Platinum. The storyline, the dark setting, the changes it brought competitively....I enjoyed it throughly, and if 4th Gen remakes come out, I will eagerly await this games return.
    I love competitive Pokémon, aside from writing, it is my only relaxing past time. I generally like trying out new competitive Pokémon, and love to use Pokémon from lower tiers in OU. I next to never switch from the standard metagame, and when I do, it is mostly to UU or Ubers. I have never played LC or NU, but have a little experience of RU.
    My favourite Pokémon is Infernape, it was my first level 100 and it kicked ass in Pokémon Platinum. My favourite type is Fire Type.
    A few personal things?
    Well, I am a Pakistani Muslim, and despite just being 13, I have, as every teen in Pakistan has been forced to in these times, taken an interest in Pakistani politics, and I for one enthusiastically debate with other people, even my elders, about things such as whether or not Imran Khan would make a good Wazir-e-Ala, and whether Benazir Bhutto's death in 2007 lead to the decline of the Pakistan economy(the answers are no to the first one and yes to the second one.).
    Well, thats all about me. Just one last thing. If you want, you can call me Mage.

    Welcome to LV, TK or Mage! <3 Good luck writing horror, it's definitely one of the harder genres to work with. I love to write myself but mostly just action, fantasy, and a bit of romance. Maybe you can post your work in our writing board sometime?

    Hello there, welcome to Lake Valor! Actually, the site was taking some time migrating to a new server, so that's likely why it was slow. Everything is all settled now though, so that's exciting~

    Sounds like you have a lot of interests - we have plenty of sections here that may suit you very well, including a section to share your writing, and a section to discuss competitive battling, too! :) I'm sure you'd love it if you stuck around. It's a pretty chill place.

    Fourth Generation was my favorite gen as well, though Pokémon Mystery Dungeon takes the title of "Favorite Pokémon game," for me.

    Welcome to Lake Valor, The TK! It's great that you have a lot of interests- you should post some of your writing if you ever feel like sharing it. I'm sure many people would love to read it! We also have a competitive battling section if you're ever interested in challenging other members to battles. They sometimes use the shoutbox to set up battles, as well.
