Have you ever experienced a glitch you didn't hear about or anticipate while playing a Pokémon game? Have you heard stories about someone that has?

I once experienced a glitch in my Pokémon Platinum game--finding Giratina for the first time.

At this time I didn't go on the internet or have any friends that played Pokémon, so I didn't know what to expect when I entered route 214's hidden path. After wandering Turnback Cave (which was a name that creeped me out since I was playing at night), I came across a very large sprite in a large room... It almost covered the screen! I pressed the A button next to it, and battled Giratina.
I later learned that this was an anomaly--there wasn't anyone that experienced this before, and I never did afterward either. Weird, right?

Yes! Prior to knowing about this glitch, I did a rental challenge in the PWT in BW2, and I can't exactly recall all rental Pokémon I had, but I remember having a Purrloin, and I encountered a glitch somewhere along the lines of when I switched my Purrloin out to a different Pokémon, it switched out, but Purrloin's cry and typing was still there (which screwed me out of the battle, by the way). The moves of the Pokémon I switched to were all there, and the image of it & all, but it's difficult to describe this glitch in its entirety, especially since it's so vague to me at this point. This was 3 years ago, after all.

This glitch happened to me a couple years ago while playing HearGold. I was Unown-hunting for the fun of it (to see if I could catch all the kinds of Unown), and while I was doing that, I came across a weird graphical error- I don't know if has happened to anyone else before.

The battle started like normal, but when the battle screen itself came up, it was completely white except for my trainer and the opposing Unown. The bottom screen was completely white as well. The Unown was also shiny, but it didn't sparkle, it just did its cry and animation. After that, the game kinda froze- it wouldn't let me run or send out a Pokémon or do anything. The only reason I knew the game was still running is that the battle music kept playing. I took a photo of it because I had never seen anything like it-

All in all, it was weird, and I had to shut off the DS in order to restart. It hasn't happened since, so I can only assume it was just some weird sort of glitch.

The only glitch I've noticed in Pokémon (beside the cloning stuff) is that spot in the wall of Goldenrod's underground strip that you can walk into. There's absolutely nothing you can do there, but it's just weird that you can walk into the wall.

I once got an ok that my Manaphy could learn fly. I took a deep breath, and then saved and shut down my DS for that day.
