Unintentionally dropped anime

    So, I think at least a few of us have had those moments. You enjoy an anime, but at some point you just stop watching it. You don't know why, but you keep telling yourself you want to watch it again sometime, but you don't. At some point, you aren't interested in continuing the anime and completely forget the anime. It's not quite dropping the anime, but you don't have any plans to watch it ever again just because.

    Looking at my MAL list, four of my "On-hold" probably come under this. These are Heavy Object, Mai-Otome, Lucky Star and Etotama. All four of these anime I remember finding humourous and entertaining while watching them, but unlike other animes that I haven't seen for a while and never really thought about watching them again. I think Selector Infected WIXOSS might fall under this category as well, but I do sometimes think about watching that every once in a while.

    Oh dear, I've done this soo many times. But I usually go back to watch when I remember it. Most notably I did it with Inazuma Eleven, Initially I just forgot but after a year I was like oh yeah and just binge watched.

    This happened to me with To Love-Ru Darkness 2nd, Little Busters! and Hyouka. TLR is somewhat explainable as I watching the series when it was airing and didn't feel like catching up (that and the uncensored version wasn't yet available >_> ), but with the other two I don't know what it was. I've tried to start watching Little Busters! like 3 times now and every time I enjoy the first episodes, then just stop watching for some reason :c Hyouka started kinda slow, but I loved the animation and atmosphere and I think it's a great SoF series even after watching only a few episodes. I'll finish them some time >_> Also Kekkai Sensen, but that's the producers' fault. Who would think to have a 6 month break between the second to last episode and the finale??? Like wtf, I still can't get over that, made me drop an otherwise cool series.

    GetBackers is kinda like that to me, since I have tried to watch it 3 times now, and I have just dropped it, for some unknown reason. Fun fact is that I also tried to read the manga, and the same thing happened...
    Just what is wrong with me and GetBackers... Is there some kind of rule that I'm not "allowed" to finish GetBackers?

    Last Exile, I really liked watching it but for some reason I never finished it despite actually owning it on DVD. There's probably a few more but Last Exile is the one I remember the most because I've actually dropped it not once but twice.

    Ahh, can't tell you how many times I've done this. The main ones I can think of are Akame Ga Kill, GATE, Denki-Gai no Honya-san, and Baka to Test.
    I enjoyed each of those throughout the episodes I watched them, especially Denki-Gai and Baka to Test because they make my laugh my ass off. But I'm still stuck at episode 8 (?) on Denki-Gai and episode 4 on Baka to Test.
    Naruto would be another one but one of these days, I really will drop everything and just binge watch until I catch up. It will be a glorious week or so. Pray for me in advance.

    I actually do this a lot. Well. Yeah.

    So I've been meaning to pick it back up, but I have never found the motivation to with animes such as K project, Naruto, Golden Time, The Irregular at Magic High School, Nisekoi, and so many more.

    I might pick up K Project again, but most of the others I don't see myself watching anytime soon.

    Oh gosh, too many to count! K project (sorry aqua), Madoka Magica, Fairy Tail, Ben-to!, Nagi no Asukara, DRRR!! are just a few examples. I feel really bad, but I have a lot of anime I'm currently watching and I don't necessarily have the time to go back and watch tbh x.x

    Nahh, OPM didn't seem that great to me. I tried episode one and it was mehh. I apologise guys!

    Other anime I dropped are Ikkitousen: Dragon Destiny (because someone told me ikkitousen means fanservice, welp) and Madoka Magica (because I didn't really like the first few episodes and the general theme of the series).

    Literally every show I've started besides Naruto, NANA, and KnB. I dunno what happens, I just stop keeping up with it. Real life gets busy, and I just keep putting it off until I lose total interest in finishing the series :s
