    I think we need another flavor of uplifting in here.

    My first suggestion is Gojira's "Backbone". It's, well, it's like a heavy metal translation of "I get knocked down, but I get up again, you're never gonna keep me down, I get knocked down, but I get up again...". Lyrics in the description. Honestly, I can understand those lyrics better most music I hear on the radio...

    After that, I recommend the original Load version of Metallica's "Until it Sleeps". The song itself is about getting help from loved ones through crippling drug addiction, but it reminds me that I have people who will help me through less-severe troubles too.

    Music just in general helps me. But the most uplifting song... When I think of uplifting, my mind turns to gospel music. LDS (Latter Day Saints), or Mormon, gospel music. My favorite artist is Jenny Philips.

    Anyone here like Hikaru Nara? That song always uplifts my spirits no matter if it's the full japanese version or the short english fan dub from youtube. That song has gotten me through at least thirty five long shifts in the past three months alone.

    Another one is I will not bow by breaking Benjamin. That one gets me going. Although it is more inspirational than uplifting.
