I know I've been RedScizor for like ever but I've thought about and I want my name to be changed to just "Nate".

Literally everyone calls me that anyway lol.

I feel like changing my username but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to, it hasn't really been a year so unless someone is nice, I'd like my name changed to Greninja.

 

Sorry it wouldn't be fair to make an exception, you'll have to wait a year after your previous request or purchase a name change from the shop.

Before September 29th, you were inactive since July 29th, which is 2 months of inactivity. :/
You can request it again on October 29th, or you could try earning enough PokéPoints to buy one from the LV Shop.

Yo! We've implemented a new policy to this thread.
Sometimes, you'll want to change your username to something that's already being occupied by someone else. But at the same time, that someone else isn't really using it either (meaning that they haven't been active on LV in a long time), so it's a bit of a waste.
This policy will allow you to "steal" usernames from inactive members if they've been inactive for 1 year.

For example: I want to change my username to "Potato", but sadly, it's already taken.
If I go to [member=Potato]'s profile, you'll notice that the last time they visited LV was Dec 7th, 2014, which is a little over a year now.
Since it's been over a year since they visited, I'm allowed to request that my username gets changed to "Potato".

Note: If you've already used up your 1 free request per year in this thread, you may purchase a Display Name Change item from our LV Shop (under "User Changes") and then proceed to PM an Admin with your request.

 

But if Potato's username is stolen, what username does it get in its place? Can it still be Potato, or does it get replaced with something similar, like Potato_?
If the latter - worse still, what if that person comes back? How is that person notified s/he lost his/her username? Can s/he take it back from the other person?

This leaves unanswered questions, and I fear the answers may be undesirable.
