VGPoll #1 - It's Dangerous to go Alone! Take this.

I haven't played many LoZ games, but I really really like Phantom Hourglass. I really loved being able to sail around the world, and blasting things with a cannon on a ship was a ton of fun! I thought there were some pretty great story elements and characters in the game too.

 

Windwaker is the best game for me. I absolutely love how there is music for every time you hit an enemy. Awesome game overall .

 

OoT for me all the way. It is now in the lead thanks to me. YAS. It's a solid game that has all elements covered, epic gameplay, funtastic side quests, superb music, beautiful graphics (for its time), excellent controls, and a cliche storyline that works.

All Zelda games are legendary in their own way, but OoT (to me) has a perfect balance of everything. Wind Waker (for example) was tedious and most of your time was spent sailing the seas. It's not a bad thing, but it lacked a balance for the overall Zelda experience.

 

All of the Zelda games has its own charming tone to it. My personal favourite is the Minish Cap, but thats only because I grew up constantly playing it, while living in Germany to moving back to the states, I still have my German copy of it. All of the Zelda games are great in their own way, but the main one that I cannot stand is Spirit Tracks, I mean really...
