Video Game Character Standoff!: Mario VS Luigi [Week 1]

Luigi, no doubt. You can't help but feel sorry for the poor guy, always standing in the shadow of his bigger and much more successful brother, always being in second place, never really getting a chance to shine... He never gets any recognition, which he does deserve.

If I imagine Mario and Luigi in real life, I see Mario as the older, arrogant brother. He is bigger, better, more popular, and he's not afraid to show that either. Luigi on the other hand is a dorky yet funny guy, someone who can always make you laugh. He's the kind of guy I would like to be around, not Mario. And that's why my vote goes entirely to Luigi!

By the way, I really love this standoff thing! It's a great idea, and I can't wait to see who the characters will be next week

 

I will pick Mario, because it was more useful in the games for me. Even in the very old ones when the characters did the same, It was easier to win with Mario, Why? Because it was Mario and no a tall guy that "high jump kicks" when I only ask him to do a little jump :/ (they did the same, but Luigi almost always jumps higher)

Luigi, absolutely. He runs faster and jumps higher than Mario, yet for some reason always ends up in the shadow of his brother. This is a chance for him to finally get the victory he deserves!

 

I really like both of them! I only prefer Mario simply for the color but really I like both!

 

Luigi! He has such a caring personality and he's just an overall good person to the people around him. He's also such a dork, which is absolutely lovable.

I picked Mario due to how much I like Mario in Super Smash Bros. because of his cape and how freaking useful it is. Furthermore, my brother always made me play as Mario so he could be Luigi, so I'm more familiar with Mario.

 

I'll pick Luigi. xD

Mario gets too much glory, and Luigi is always a brides maid - never a bride. ;__;

Death Stare will rule above all. Luigi is god. Mario is peasant.
