Video Game Confessions

First of all: The only real game series I've ever played is Pokémon (although I did buy Zelda: Link between Worlds; still waiting for it). Besides, before I purchased my 3DS, I never owned any legit game console...
And most of all, I always considered Pokémon HG/SS as the best games, just because I never played them. About a month ago, I finally got HeartGold. I still haven't finished the game ._.

 

-I've never beaten any Sonic the Hedgehog game.
-I owned Fallout 3 for over a year, never played it once, and then traded it in to reduce the cost of getting a 3DS.
-Even though I've beaten Final Fantasy IV in the past, I still haven't finished the DS remake version, despite being in the last part of the game for a while now.
-Just gave up and lost interest in Dragon Quest IX, ended up trading it in.
-I sold my Gamecube and all of the games I had for it for drug money back in highschool, which I regret.

 

I tend shout and curse a few times if Im playing playstation all stars online

I got my god of war 3 plat only through rxploiting the infinity health glitch

I have tons of games In my bavklog to get yhrough yet I always feel to need to buy a 'new' game.

 

I have never beaten a legend of zelda game.......

 

Uhh..
I've had Assassins Creed for about a year..still never beat it. I love it but I gotta be in the mood to play it which is hardly ever..
I even got the 2nd game on Xbox..it was free download cause Xbox one came out and Xbox started giving away 1 free download game every month..Assassins Creed 2 was the 1st one I got..and I've yet to play it since I still haven't beaten the 1st game. Had the 1st one about a year..and the 2nd one for probably a few months..

 

Shame.....Ac is my life beaten all of them, twice

 

AC II was and is the best of the lot. <3

 

• Have never played a Zelda game, I'm kinda interested to but I don't think I'd enjoy it.
• I usually stick to playing the same game for a whole year until a new version is released, like Pokémon. I played Black 2 up until X/Y came out despite most people have quit. I still play Animal Crossing New Leaf too, and I'm waiting for the next game. (Probably have about a 4 year wait)
• I love Grand Theft Auto but I've never played it on my own. I've played it with my brother like once and I was awful.

 

It's an unpopular opinion so I suppose I should add it to my list of confessions:

I don't really like Super Mario 64.

I really feel that Mario is best as a sidescroller, like how the games more or less started. Messing around with a camera in thee dimensions playing the same stages over and over again to collect things was not that appealing to me and I didn't enjoy Mario 64 nearly as much as any sidescrolling Mario game I've played. I skipped Sunshine completely on the Gamecube because of this, I am not a fan of Mario in a three dimensional platformer with stage hubs, where the goal is to collect numbers of things. Much more satisfying to go through a level and just beat it, and progress to a new one and on through a map to the final castle. I like that Nintendo has gone back to this style in recent games, it's what Mario does best.

 

Pokémon is the only game I beat on my 3ds.

 

I owned a 3ds for 3 months before I got an actual 3ds game.

 

-I cried at the endings of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky and Gates to Infinity.
-I've probably broken at least a half a dozen Playstation 2 controllers(I literally shattered one smashing it on my floor in a rage XD)
-I rage a lot XD

 

I enjoy to strip girls in Ar Tonelico Qoga.
and I got a bad habit where I buy new games without never beating those I already have ):

 

- Sonic 3 & Knuckles: It took looking up a guide on the Internet after years of being unable to get past the infamous Barrel of Doom (except for on extremely lucky occasions) in Carnival Night Zone Act 2 to figure out that I had been doing it wrong. Anyone who played the game probably knows what I'm talking about. ;~;
- also on the Sonic side is when I first played the Chao Gardens in Adventure 2: Battle and thought that you were supposed to teach your chao how to fly by playing as Tails and "showing" them.

- The spiders and squids in Minecraft genuinely frighten me to the point where I haven't played the game on any difficulty other than Peaceful since I bought it.

- In every Pokémon game before X/Y, I "save scummed" [saving after every successful battle so that if you lose, you don't have to start over] my way through the Elite Four. Backfired, however, when I SS'd the Sinnoh Elite Four and got to Cynthia; all of my Pokémon had run out of PP and one in particular managed to withstand a lot of damage. I ended up stuck in an unending battle to the point where my younger self had preferred to restart the whole game instead of simply repeating the E4.

- In Mario Kart 64, I tried driving into Peach's castle on Royal Raceway dozens of times as a little kid. I was disappointed that you couldn't enter. :c

 

I was willing to pay someone to beat my Pokémon Y cause I was too lazy to do the story. In the end, I couldn't find anyone, so I ended up beating it myself. -_-

 

I tried to play Dark Souls II and I lasted about 15 minutes before quitting the game. I'm taking it in this Friday to trade for Watch Dogs.

 

The only LoZ game I have finished to date in aLBW. I own OoT, TP, Skyward Sword, Spirit Tracks, and aLBW, and I play Minish Cap.

I have a very bad tendency to not finish games and move on to a different game.

While I openly detest FPS games, I actually quite liked the few minutes I've played of HALO.

 

I drive very crazy in GTA 5, I go through about four cars before I get to my destination.

 

1. I have never finished a zelda game. I have been stuck on the final stage before fighting Ganon in Ocarina for more than a year now, and the rest I just gave up at some point after getting hopelessly stuck, usually in the water temple.

2. I have been stuck on the chameleon boss in Nights: Journey of Dreams for over 4 years.

3. I have only cried twice over a Pokémon game and both times were in explorers of sky; at the ending, and at the final part of the igglybuff the prodigy mission.

3.5 One of the only other times a game has made me cry was in Halo 4 when SPOILERS they killed off Cortana END SPOILERS

4. I have always sucked at dance dance revolution, and can only complete the song sandstorm by darude on any mode without failing.

5. When I play Wii sports I just sit down and swing the controller so the game thinks I am running. I do the same for the walking counter on the ds.

6. I have never actually played a game on any console before the game cube.

7. I liked the snowman from Frozen. Not really game related, but a confession all the same.
